10-2. I think we will sweep the home slate and lose two close ones on road. One of the losses will be at Iowa, the other will be the result of poor officiating at one of our rivals.

Orange Bowl then?

It made little sense as a romantic comedy. Now I get it!

I did not read beyond point #1. Like most major college football coaches, Barry Alvarez is not a very competitive person. I am sure he will do everything he can to keep his team out of the playoffs just like Bo or Harbaugh would.

we will pass one team and one team will pass us in the final rankings. UM will be very angry and win a bowl game by 342 points.

You asshole! I have been up since 4AM working out and watching tape! I have a mock press conference to talk about the quarterback situation at 7AM. After that, a solo meeting to prepare an offensive gameplan. I may not get to work today!
I hope the /s is unecessary.

is another example. But the D play, while not great, played well enough to will. The safety provided the margin of victory. It looked like De'veon had enough momentum to power out of the end zone, but tried to stop and cut allowing the DT to stop him for a loss.

We will have wins against 3 of the top 10. Clemson will have beaten Louisville. What is Louisville's signature win? #18 FSU. I can't see the committee moving Louisville into the top 4.

I follow a subpar Mississippi State team. This means I felt compelled to watch this beatdown game. Bama has run up the score today, but I see some flaws.
Mississippi State's O Line has gotten better push today than against LSU or Auburn. I think Michigan will be able to run right at them for 4 or 5 yards per carry. Bama's LB's and safeties are fast. Running plays to the edge have all resulted in tackles for loss. Bama's pass rush is on par with Michigan's but their corners are not very good in coverage. If Speight has any time, there will be open receivers down field all day.
Jalen Hurts is an inaccurate passer. Most of his passing yards have come on short throws that were broken for big gains. He is a good runner and he is the entire offense today. Entering the fourth quarter, Hurts has run or thrown 48 times. They have 11 running back rushes. It is hard to evaluate their running game based on today's effort. It should be possible to stack the box and force Hurts to throw, but Michigan will have to tackle well or Bama's speedy skill players will break off huge chunks or yards.

The KNOWLEDGE will make an implausable prediction that will not come true because of a disturbance in the time-space continuum.
And yet he will soar above his enemies!

Greg Davis has found a weakness he thinks he can exploit by running twice, passing, and then punting repeated.

I believe Ernie Bock, who wore the winged helmet, graduated in your class. He was my hero!

My daughter is a senior at Starkville High along with Willie Gay. It is one of the better schools in the State of Mississippi. Before you scoff, I am a graduate of Northville High School and my daughter's AP curriculum is more rigorous than the similar curriculum I completed in high school. Starkville is a university town and most of the children of faculty attend SHS.
I know nothing about the courses Willie has completed or how he has fared in those courses, but it is unlikely that his coursework would be rejected for being unsuitable.

Per a release, Kentucky will host Eastern Michigan at Commonwealth Stadium in Lexington on Sept. 30, 2017. The game will be the first ever meeting between the two schools on the gridiron. Two seasons later on Sept. 7, 2019, Kentucky will travel to face EMU at Rynearson Stadium in Ypsilanti. The Wildcats will host the third and final game of the series on Sept. 5, 2020.
|4 weeks 5 days ago||Willie Gay||
Gay has played linebacker all season. Last Saturday, his coach installed him at QB. He did not throw a pass, but ran for over 300 yards and 5 TDs for the win! I hope he is watching how this Harbaugh uses players both ways!

|5 weeks 4 days ago||This is quite a generalization||
I have lived in Starkville, MS for 20 years. Much of Mississippi is integrated and has better race relations than the Detroit area (where I was raised). There are pockets where Jim Crow era attitudes still exist, but these are the exception rather than the rule.
|5 weeks 6 days ago||Harbaugh Pause||
I have shared your concern about Speight. IIRC, Harbaugh pulled him for a play after his first throw was errant. The camera did not cut away to the sideline, but I assume that Harbaugh gave Speight a good talking to and rubbed him with some magic Harbaugh oil before sending him back into the game to play flawlessly the rest of the way. My concern has diminished!

Ole Miss has gone 3-4 with wins over Memphis, Wofford, and Georgia. Expect them to fall to #24!
