|7 hours 25 min ago||I hear you||
Saying "call it a day" was in poor taste. What I was trying to say was "and let things proceed from here."
If Seattle had done true due diligence and proceeded to hold Frank accountable for any further bad behavior up to and including termination, I would have felt like they had handled the situation the right way.

I agree with what a lot of folks have already said on this.
1. Frank had his day in court.
Call it a day. You give the kid a chance to show he's reformed and you are prepared to cut him lose the moment he does not live up to his end of the bargain.

Johnnie Morton, Robert Porcher, Luther Ellis... just to add a few names to this list.

I see what you are getting at here, but I'm not sure I agree with the no switch to flip logic. Most athletes are not arrested for physical assault. A few are. Just because their job requires a level of violence does not mean they are intrinsically that way off the field.
I'm sure you could find a lot of real family oriented NFL players who would never put their hands on another human being outside of football.
The other stuff you said sounded right, FWIW.

Man, this is one stacked team when you look at the lineup like that top to bottom. Next year could be special.

My friends in London were asking me how close Ann Arbor was to my house. You are correct that the friendly certainly shined a light on Ann Arbor. Pretty cool stuff. Also, the game was great and Man U won. Which was awesome.

His last year of coaching at GVSU was my first year on campus. One of my first dates with my now-wife was watching that National Championship game in our dorm common room right before Christmas break. So, no hard feeling for BK.
|2 weeks 6 days ago||Hi Everyone,||
My name is SalingerUofMfan and I don't vehemently hate Notre Dame. In fact, I hold no hostility toward the Fighting Irish. And when Brian Kelly was hired as ND's coach, I sort of wished he'd been hired as our coach. This was pre-purpleface, but still...
Please don't send me to Bolivia.

I have heard almost nothing about Pipkins and was always hoping that he'd turn into the mauler we all dream about. Is he hurt right now, do we know?
|4 weeks 6 days ago||Hats off to your for your defense||
But to get to your point, your post seemed a little ill conceived. No one is slotted as the starter in 2 years. No one is for sure slotted this year. The right guy will get the ball, don't you worry.
Carry on with your day.
|4 weeks 6 days ago||I tend to agree||
My only concern is whether a guy like Rudock has what it takes to beat the OSU's of the world. Of course, that's a standing question for all of our available QBs so at least we'd have a guy with some game experience.

I' ve been supporting Man U since I knew about the EPL (almost 20 years now) and am trying to get into MLS. I live 2 hours from Chicago in Grand Rapids so I'll be adopting the Fire. Toronto is the better choice for good play, but you have to align yourself with your local club where possible.
That said, if I lived in the UK I'd for sure live in London and I'd still support Man U.
HE GOES BY THE NAME OF WAYNE ROO-NEY!
|8 weeks 5 days ago||It wasn't blatantly clear||
It wasn't blatantly clear that Mr. King was driving during the incident. The article states that he was "arraigned Monday on charges of drunk and disorderly conduct and disorderly conduct, resisting, hindering or assaulting a police officer."
So he was drunk, apparently super drunk, but not necessarily behind the wheel. I think the distinction is important.

your strong opinion is noted. And probably makes everyone uncomfortable to be around you.
