| 1 week 1 day ago | Great summation of Denard's character |
Denard Robinson = class act - "That's a perfect fit in Jacksonville: a quarterback without the expectations, and a showman without the circus." |
| 3 weeks 1 day ago | Me Too! |
I was near Canton last week and I swear I saw that license plate on my way back to GR.
To self: Cool story bro. |
| 5 weeks 12 hours ago | Denver/New England |
I'd like to see him in Denver or New England. It'd be fun to see what Denard can do with a prolific QB getting him the ball in space. Phili makes sense to me as well. |
| 10 weeks 3 days ago | Evidence? |
What evidence do you have to substantiate this? The coaches said that Devin had been out of the rotation in practice for weeks prior to Denard's injury. Throw a player who hasn't been coached up for weeks in there and the result, though probably less ugly, is still the same. A loss is a loss. |

Get one of those golden eggs from Harry Potter, have the Mer-people say what school you are committing to through the egg, but because its being announced in Mer-language all anyone will here is this:

| 18 weeks 3 days ago | Question RE: Rest of the Class |
I don't know anyting about Durham Smythe, but I was wondering why we would look to take another TE in this class. We took 2 (sort of) last year, and already have 2 so far this year.
Any insight into why we would take another? I'm assuming he's highly valued, that much I can gather, but why a third? Could we see Funchess move to more of a WR position perhaps? |
| 19 weeks 1 day ago | I think this is the salient point |
I am no OSU apologist; I hate them, just to be clear. Having said that, they too won 12 games last year. Like ND, those wins were lucky in some cases, good breaks in others, and poor competition pretty much across the board. Having said that, there is something to be said for going 12-0. OSU won't be a roll over game. I think it will be highly contested, a potential paring of two 11 win teams. OSU's schedule is just as flimzy as Michigan's next year. It will be interesting to see how the season shapes up.
I for one think that Taylor's contribution could potentially account for .6777777 of a win next year. Yeah, that much. |
| 26 weeks 3 days ago | Question |
Which position does Ross play next year then? The only open LB position that I know of is Demens, and I don't see him as the Mike. Does Morgan slide over to Mike and Ross takes the Will? Does Ross supplant Morgan at Will and Bolden takes Mike? Am I completely wrong with this Will/Mike stuff and I need to through a Sam in there? What say the MGo community? |

At Michigan we are so fortunate to have such a long lineage of great WRs. Roy, though his numbers have not shown it in the last few years, has been clutch when the team's needed him. I've really ratcheted up my UM fandom in the last 6 or so years and its been great to have a guy like Roy around to cheer for. I'm looking forward to another player filling his shoes and meeting the expectations for the position.

Even better, we see Coach Hoke come in and give him a pat on the back. Here's hoping for another great defensive effort this Saturday. |

is good. Watched a few games there last year. If you are stuck downtown though, there is a corporate BWW on the corner of Ionia and Fulton. It will be packed but there are TVs galore. Plus, you could sneak off to Hopcat afterward and enjoy one of their over 100 available non-Bud Light beers. Excellent craft selection and their crack fries are well worth the wait. |
| 36 weeks 3 days ago | A few thoughts/questions |
1. I know its in the past, but I wonder how this game would have turned out had we not had that V. Smith interception. 21 - 3 is vastly different from 14-10. It would be interesting to see what kind of boost a lead like that would have given our offense and the urgency it would have forced on Air Force. Not bitching or anything, just interesting.
2. With Air Force stacking the box so much I'm surprised we didn't see more play action. It worked so well when we ran it. Both touchdowns came on Play Action. Especially since Air Force seemed so sold out on stopping Fitz, just seems like a know brainer. I'm not an expert so maybe over-using play action diminishes its effectiveness? |
| 38 weeks 17 hours ago | I was at that game |
and it was the best feeling watching all those ND fans whining. That bomb from Henne to Manningham was especially memorable. |
| 38 weeks 2 days ago | Remember what Gus Malzahn said too |
Alabama is one of the best teams in the country between the tackles and they blitz field side. Hopefully we can beat them on a few week side misdirection plays, maybe a HB counter, maybe that nifty V. Smith delayed screen. Beyond that, sound fundamentals, and I mean that without trying to be all MANBALL! on everyone. The WCO, as you all know, is all about short, efficient passes which help open up the run game. Denard relied too heavily last year on the deep ball launch-and-a-prayer method of generating yards. Lets hope Borges' game plan is more effectively carried out against Alabama and maybe we can all enjoy a respectable game. |

I'd never given JT Floyd much thought (no excuses, play like a Champion), but that is one well spoken, grounded guy right there. Glad that he's a part of this team and I look forward to seeing him make some plays this year. Him and Countess are going to be a strong duo. |

| 41 weeks 1 day ago | I mean underrated |
with the most respect. I think I need to start ending my work meetings with "This is Michigan." I'm going to go talk to my boss about it right now actually. |
| 41 weeks 1 day ago | Lets cut the guy some slack |
Not that you were the culprit but I seem to recall a weekend long droolfest over one Laquon Treadwell that has turned into precicely zilch so far. Not that I'm harping on him... as has already been stated, these are kids making life changing decisions. Lets just try to keep some perspective. It was some potentially interesting information about a top prospect that may or may not be true.
