I hope that the decision to let Borges go initially came from Hoke and not Brandon. If Hoke will indeed be one of the best Michigan coaches ever, he has to be able to evaluate his employees independent of whatever friendship they might share.
Is it acceptable for Hoke and Borges to have a C- offense in year 3? I don't agree with that. But even if one accepts C-, then why are we playing D football? That's a reflection of the coaching performance.
Time to admit that we are not Alabama, we're not able to call any recruit and immediately get interest. It's cool that our recruits are turning down Suburban!

I think it was Brian after the Ohio game who pointed out that Meyer made their offense line up quickly to: 1) keep us from substituting defensive players, 2) inspect our defensive alignment, and 3) to audible if necessary. Although Ohio ran a "hurry up", they didn't hike the ball until the play clock was down to single digits. I would be curious to hear what Borges thinks about that strategy.
