Excellent response. We have high hopes for Day, but it is just not that realistic. Day is a great offensive mind but does that really translate to a HC of Meyer's level. Next season is going to be interesting.
Reid was a TE recruited out of Grosse Point, MI. He played 3 years at OSU as a TE. In his senior year, Reid was switched to tackle and gained about 20-30 lbs. for his new position. He was drafted to the NFL after that great season in his first year at tackle. Warinner does deserve credit for helping Reid and getting him into a position for success. The "Reid Fragel Award" is given to the player that comes out of nowhere and shines for the team. Warriner was one of my favorite coaches.
The recruiting classes have been really great but you see what happens when that talent doesn't come together and play as a team (MSU debacle). JH has proven he is the real deal when it comes to coaching and having his team ready. The Game this November will have an undefeated UM team facing an OSU team with possibly one loss. Rashan will make a big difference. The question mark will be at the QB postion for UM. OSU knows who their starter will be. Oh please, let's not have another controversy!
I felt a little like Urban in that it was a great win but we missed out on the NC game. MSU was the third best team in the B1G and a poor representive for us. I believe the winner of "The Game" next November in Cbus will be a great representative for the B1G in the NC. Congrats on a dominating win.
We all know for this game the records mean nothing. Emotion plays a key element. I think it is even at this point. Since JH is coaching and the game is at AA, the line will come out UM -3. After the meltdown of the MSU game, we will see if Urban earns his money in getting the Bucks ready.
It seems to me this team has been mismanaged this whole season. QB controversy? There shouldn't have been one. JT missed too many reps early in the season to be ready now. It kills me that Mark May gets the last laugh. Saban complained last year that his players were thinking more about the draft and keeping themselves healthy rather than playing their best. I don't know if that is what is going on with the Bucks, but it didn't seem there was any sense of urgency.
Both teams make better use of Ohio players than OSU. Some of our players are already announcing that they are turning pro. I am very disappointed with our team.
After a team vote, it was decided that JT will not practice Sunday. J/K Seriously though, Urban's punishment will be very severe because this is could have been a life threatening matter. Cardale was the man last year, and I believe that he will be the one to take over the reigns for the rest of the season. This is such a major disappointment out of a team captain.
Comparing scores never means anything. The only thing I was trying to say was since Maryland is so bad, it is time for this offense to be putting up points. Without the TOs or dumb miscues at IU, OSU had the game well in hand. The game at AA will be a nail biter. It didn't become "The Game" by accident.
I have read all your comments and I believe you know the feelings of our fans. The way this team finished off the playoff run had us licking our chops waiting for this season to start. VT was a good statement, but since then it hasn't lived up to anyone's expectations. I picked UM 27 - Terps 3 on this site and I felt that UM was disrespected for only an 11.5 favorite. If the Bucks can't put it on the derps by more than 30, there will be a run on Prozac.
Whenever a team gets disrespected this way, it only add more fire to the team. I am not a betting person, but this seems like a no brainer. UM 27 - Terps 3
I wasn't referring only to UM fans or OSU fans. Every team has those who are an embarrassment to their school and program. Devin showed great character in his gesture toward JT. As an OSU fan, I felt a great deal of pride in a college athlete showing the people in the stands that you don't need to be an obstinate ass to others. I have repeatedly told OSU fans to be respectful to other fans. Somehow there is this feeling that all fans of a different team are to be catagorized in certain way. Wouldn't it be great to be known as the university of quality fans?
The B1G is the big loser. We really suck. I was really confident that UM and OSU would win their games. MSU had the tougher challenge, but still I thought they could win to show the B1G is for real. Everyone still has a challenge to win the B1G, but it seems like the winner will be a laughable team.
I liked the creativity of Urban and his staff in recruiting. Things are going well at tOSU and a host of people in the U.S. agree with that by ranking the Bucks in the top five.
I like the recruiting efforts by Hoke and his staff. The greatest rivalry in sports will continue.

This is the exact reason that I thought of for the flip. Mike could be a top recruiter plus getting coached by Mike could be too big to pass up.

UM played a better team than either OSU or MSU and completely dominated the game. I thought when the rankings came out that UM would be in the top 20.
This will be fun. Blue D and running game will prove to be too much.
