That makes me so happy to hear. I've always thought good local content is the only reason to bother with live local radio. If Sam and Ira are not on I am just going to throw on a podcast but having locals calling up praising or complaning about whatever is so much better. Hope this works out and they continue moving away from syndicated shows.
If adds on the uniforms would lower the amount of TV timeouts and delays I would be all for them. In my opinion its silly to get mad about adds on jerseys and not at how bad the in game experience has gotten due to delays. I have been a season ticketholder for 20 years and I find myself dreading primetime games because I know i'll be sitting in my seat staring at the guy with the red had for a frustratingly long amount of time. If they can pack the stadium and jerseys with adds ala the BPL but make each half uninerupted by tv adds count me in.

Real Urban BBQ, its fairly new but would seem to be a good place to watch the game. Lots of TV's, beers. It's one downside is parking in the area blows.
Section 1 prides itself on being where the wave goes to die. If you want to hear section 1 cheer listen after really good punt or kick off coverage or a good blitz pickup. I'll agree we don't cheer very loudly but there are very serious fans that have been going to games for a very long time.
Hofbrauhaus in Newport is my favorite bar/restaurant in town. If you like german beer and girls in lederhosen this place is for you. I head there before or after reds games as you can walk across the bridge to the stadium.
It looks like his first mistake was he flew this approach below published minimums. Once he got that low and saw the runway he tried to stay very low and circle to land. The combination of being a few hundred feet above the ground and a probable lack of airspeed likely caused a stall with the associated the loss of altitude and the forced emergency landing.
As for the previous comment above about Buffalo being similar this is not really the case. That was caused due to a build up of ice on the tail of the plane and overtrimming caused by the autopilot trying to correct it. When the autopilot kicked off due to running out of usable trim the plane lost downward pressure with the tail and noesed down into the ground. At the point the AP kicked off they were probably past the point of correction.
This is an edjucated guess but still just a guess so take it for what its worth...

That whole game was so strange with no student section and the Alumni Band. Did any one else feel like they were playing everything slow?
That plane is a Lear 60 its typically used for Medical Transport flights. Coaches and DB are usually on other planes not so obviosly painted.

Pilot here,
