We had no choice on the days Hockey and MBB played OSU. From my understanding MBB game times are scheduled around the BIG10 Network and TV Deals.
When you have as many varsity sports as Michigan, games are going to overlap. It happens at every college around the country.

The visiting team books their own hotels, food, and travel. In very rare occasions, the home team may agree to split some of the bill as part of a buy game with a much lower level team.

I think the reason for Pep being higher is the title of Assistant Head Coach. Brown and Drevno are listed as Coordinatiors and Assistant Coaches.

EMU is 5-2 and decent chance to be 8-4 or 7-5.
