the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection

How anyone other than Michigan could win this is beyond me. The only other helmet in America that might be considered by the general populace to be "better" is Notre Dame's. |

She looks like she has menstrual cramps. |
| 11 hours 30 min ago | Meh, I'm over it. Yeah it |
Meh, I'm over it. Yeah it sucked to watch, but I felt comfortable going to bed that night knowing Louisville was probably the better team, even if by just a slight margin. We play Louisville 10 times, we probably both win 5. Unfortunately, we only get one shot, and Louisville had to grind out that win. Besides, that call happened with about 5 minutes left. We still had time to make up for it, but we just could not get a stop. Period. |
| 13 hours 26 min ago | No offense, but you're an |
No offense, but you're an idiot if you think Northwestern has less resources than Eastern Michigan to compete with for football recruits. They're getting, or have already gotten, some new facilities on Lake Michigan, not to mention the academic resources they can use to lure in recruits who are serious about an education are probably second to none. |
| 13 hours 32 min ago | I feel bad for Ron English. |
I feel bad for Ron English. He's a good coach, but choosing to coach at Eastern Michigan is career suicide. There are zero resources, you are forever in Ann Arbor's shadow, so many of your students are commuter students and/or Michigan fans, so they have zero loyalty toward the school or your program. And its not like Ypsilanti is all that desirable of a town. Ypsilanti is like that unwanted stepchild with head lice that no one wants to talk to or be around. How English recruits kids to that school is beyond me. |

Sitting in JFK with a tall glass of Hoegaarden, then maybe treat myself to a nice rum and coke on the flight home. |

Oh well. Can't get them all. Would have been great to have, but with our O-Line haul, he won't be missed. |

I've got a feeling that even with the god-awful, shitty slate of home games Michigan has in 2014, student ticket prices will still go up that year. |
| 2 days 6 hours ago | So how is this going to work |
So how is this going to work when you've got schools like UNLV, Butler, Gonzaga, VCU, etc. that have pretty crappy football teams (compared to FBS level), but good, nationally recognized basketball teams? Is this a "just football" potential division, because if not, there are going to be a lot of really good mid-major basketball schools that will have a problem with this. |

Hopefully Hoke gets this team's road game issues sorted out by 2014 otherwise we may have a problem. |
| 2 days 9 hours ago | To be fair, a game at |
To be fair, a game at Northwestern is like a miniature home game for Michigan. |
| 2 days 12 hours ago | I feel sorry for 2014 senior |
I feel sorry for 2014 senior students. The best home game on that schedule is a sanctioned PSU team. Notre Dame, MSU, OSU, and Northwestern all away in the same year? Wow, that sucks major balls. But on the flip side, every other year we get both MSU, OSU, and Northwestern at home. |

Meh, someone's probably just bitter that they got their ass kicked by a Big East team in the Sugar Bowl, and that "the devil" has racked up 3 of the last 4 BCS titles with ease. |

You, sir, are a genius. I want whatever Kool Aid you're drinking. |
| 3 days 3 hours ago | I guess its good to see he's |
I guess its good to see he's getting the chance to show what he can do, but its probably not in Denard's ultimate best interests to work snaps at QB unless its some basic Wildcat options. I love Denard, but if he couldn't cut it as a passer at the college level, he'll get eaten alive trying to be one in the NFL. If I were the head coach, get Denard as many snaps at punt/kickoff return, running back and in the slot as you possibly can. That's where he will be the most effective. |

When your starting quarterback is Blaine Gabbert, even the punter is a potential option to take some snaps. |

I'd tend to agree with you, but these are 17-18 year old kids and their minds can change pretty quickly. Bias aside, I'm expecting he'll pick Michigan, but I wouldn't be totally shocked if he picked a place like Alabama instead. |

I hope it's true but at the same time, if it is, let Peppers himself make the announcement when he's ready. Wish people wouldn't ruin what are supposed to be these recruit's moments. |

Are you kidding? You'd take a damn commuter school into our ranks for the sake of a football and basketball team? Louisville academics are garbage, and they shouldn't be allowed in the Big Ten. |
| 4 days 3 hours ago | Good to see we're getting rid |
Good to see we're getting rid of the Texas bowls and not having every other game essentially be road contests against the SEC. Cali is great, New York is essentially a de-facto home game for any Big Ten team, and I don't know much about Nashville, but hey, it's something different. |

Well personally, I'd rather see us make the Orange, Sugar or Chick Fil-A Peach Bowl if we don't make the Rose Bowl, but yeah San Diego ain't too shabby. |

My grandfather was a ticket-taker at the stadium back in the late 50s-early 60s. Can't imagine the pay is great, but getting to see all the games for free is like a payment unto itself. Especially if you can't afford season tickets. |
| 4 days 4 hours ago | Meh, as long as it doesn't |
Meh, as long as it doesn't get personal, its all in good-natured fun. That's what makes rivalries great. We all should have expected some form of response to Hoke's statement, and I'm surprised we haven't gotten more at this point. |

Best of luck to him. He should push for early playing time given the tire fire that is the Kansas football team. |

Wow, passing up football and more importantly a free education, even if its a STAAE education, to focus on your bright future as a rapper? What's the success rate in that again? |

The only question now is who will wear the Shane Morris Legends Jersey to start the 2035 season. |
| 5 days 5 hours ago | See, I don't buy that whole |
See, I don't buy that whole idea of not wanting too many tough opponents on your schedule as a legitimate justification for dropping us. Case in point: Alabama. I don't think much of Saban as a person, but I respect the hell out of his on-field product, not only because they win, but because they will play anyone, anywhere, anytime. On top of dominating the SEC, they went to Happy Valley, they're going to MSU in a few years, they played us, and will be playing Wisconsin at neutral sites. They are the only SEC team that isn't afraid to cross the Mason-Dixon Line (Vandy doesn't count). And they win title after title. |
| 5 days 8 hours ago | Hoke never struck me as a |
Hoke never struck me as a very outspoken guy, at least not to the media. Really seems like a man of Fort Schembechler. But he's calling it like he sees it, and I happen to agree with him on this 100%. The fact that Notre Dame scrapped their rivalry with us but chose to keep Purdon't and little brother around is like a direct slap in the face to Michigan. The only reasoning I could see behind their decision is that those other two series have been around longer, and they have, but neither of those schools move the national appeal needle even remotely close to the way that playing Michigan does. Nobody gives a shit when Notre Dame plays Purdue. Why? Because Purdue fucking sucks. MSU as a whole might not suck, at least not now, but they need Notre Dame. They need the national exposure. Notre Dame doesn't need them. |
