Number one for me has to be the Corum run after the Zinter injury. Biggest edition of The Game in my lifetime, 17-17, and best player on offense goes down. Next man up and take control from that point forward. Also I moved up the big hits in the OSU game by Q Johnson and Sainristil quite a bit from their starting location. Felt those moments were huge momentum shifters for the OSU game.
Generally, I found myself putting the Washington highlights lower given that game was never truly in doubt whereas OSU, Bama, and PSU all had high leverage plays that shifted a potential loss into a win.
For breweries hit up RiNo (River north). Our Mutual Friend and Odell are the two best for IPAs. Stop by Finns Manor, while not a brewery, they have a great tap list and good food selection.
For a night out check out LoHi (Lower Highlands). Lots of awesome restaurants. Would recommend checking out Avanti Food Hall. Excellent selection of booze and food with stunning view of the city.
To clarify, I meant of the 4 stars. Completely agree, Taco doesn’t touch the top 5 you outlined.
Taco at the height of his powers in 2016 was unblockable. If this article is full career I can see the logic. It’s sad 2016 OSU wasn’t charted. Taco was a force that game... at least 2 sacks and Multiple TFLs.
While I agree Western Ontario is bad at hockey playing these exihibition games against OUA opponents have been a barometer of success for the season. When we lose or win a close one we miss the tourney, when we crush them (as we should) we will make the tourney. I am fairly confident we make the tourney, not based on the 10-1 result but based on the talent and coaching.
2013-2014 Lost to Waterloo 2-1 - ended the season 18-13-4 and missed tourney
2014-2015 Beat Wilfrid Lauier 5-3 (w an ENG) - ended the season 22-15 and missed tourney
2015-2016 Beat Toronto 8-1 - ended the season 24-9 and made the tourney
2016-2017 Beat Windsor 2-0 (W an ENG) - ended the seaosn 13-19-3 and missed tourney
This is one rule I never understood. If I was on a need based or merit based scholarship going to UofM and for some reason Sprite wanted me to star in an advertisement, I could without any repercussions. I don't see why the "Scholar-Athletes" should be any different than their peers.
I dont know if this is a good thing or a bad thing but when I looked at the Michigan Legends picture I didnt remember Desmond Howard, Ron Kramer etc. I thought of Jeremey Gallon, Devin Funchess, Jake Ryan, Desmond Morgan, Devin Gardner, and Jordan Kovacs.
As much as those guys have contributed to the team, I think this might lead to some addition by subtraction. Boo will finally get some first line minutes. Compher, Motte, Allen and Kile all showed a lot this season as freshmen. Copp, Hyman and most of the D returning and a huge freshman class coming in. Solid in the backend with Racine and Nagel. I like this team a lot next year.
I disagree I think Downing's suspension was very deserved. It is true the player had his head down but as Justingoblue pointed out that doesn't shift blame to the player receiving the hit. Downing clearly raised his elbow and delivered the blow to the head. We are lucky it isn't more games.
Being at Penn State for the 4-0 loss, I'm a little worried about this series being a trap. Penn State's game plan is to get pucks to the net and if we don't have solid D clearing the zone I could see us giving up quite a few bad goals.

This is the correct take.
Our Mutual Friend…
Denver:
Our Mutual Friend has fantastic IPAs
Cerebral Brewing has fantastic everything
Baere Brewing is in a strip mall but has great beer
Outer Range up in Frisco has great IPAs as well

The Taco Disrespekt is real. I’d take him over every DE discussed. Dude had 10 sacks his senior year.

Nagel does his best work away from Yost. I remember last year he stole some games on the road.
Waved off?
GOAL.
2-2
anyone have a free stream?
=(
Interesting that they have Sinelli listed as a Forward. He really seem to fit late in the season as a D man. I wonder how they will use him this year.
Sure they lose some pieces but doesn't Wisconsin reload similar to MIchigan?
I find it hard to believe Wisconsin will be below MSU and OSU.
If I remember correctly we had a similar stretch last year that lead to some lost momentum.
Talent + swag = STUD
Thank you for reminding me about my greatest hockey memory

"Rumple crumples." I like it.
Big weekend for Hyman. He has really been stepping his game up recently.
Thanks for doing this, love seeing the breakdowns!
Im not sure how hard it would be but it would be cool to get the goal in video form too so we can see the development real time, similar to UFRs.
I wonder if the Schissel effect has played a role in this game
