Think through this man's trajectory from feet on Bo's desk to running on the field patting Rick Leach upon scoring to Judge Judy and baseball training camps and many more I am forgetting.
1)- high ceiling with excellent physical attributes. (Needs to learn not to take hits; "this ain't hockey"). Evade skills are excellent and sometimes must just throw it away.
2)-Played under center and shotgun. Ran pro style per Jim. None of the other top guys did according to pundits.
3)-Did it in big games and played up to the competition with lapses along the way any QB can make. (see past Lions victories over Brady and Mahomes).
Minnesota is a good fit but, dammit, against my Lions.
Love the mean girls reference. Poignant. It seems Tony is at odds with the NCAA commissioner who actually watched a game or two. I am still in awe of Sherrone not bending to Manny’s aggression and going all hulk, smash, 32 straight times. Strange how the clock moves right along during that. Did Jim cheat his way to a Super Bowl too? Did he whip Pete Carrol using Stanford nerds? Must’ve been cheating in both instances.
Damn that Harbaugh! How dare he assist Jaydon's family in molding a young man with these values. This needs to be investigated! Everything under his watch...
Sounds cultural. How many bags of cash did that represent? Are they laundering money still from the drive-thru party stores? I'd hate to see the school get tarnished awaiting a several year long investigation amounting to nothing but the allegation.

My Dad and Uncle would always bet on the Lions game every Thanksgiving get together. My Uncle would lay down the ubiquitous $1 bet and declare terms and as long as my Dad got the Lions he usually agreed. However, my Uncle would initiate changing terms each quarter and maybe fudge the first bet and so that by the end of the game my Dad never had any idea what the bet involved or whether he won or lost.
Fast forward and I found two plaques cleaning out my Dad's house we sold last summer and he had apparently been the last winner kept track of. One plaque had a dollar bill firmly glued flat on it and framed. The other had the names of who had won between them. The fun is that my Uncle had listed each year and the winners name and since they both share the nickname for Richard each year said the same name only changing by the year won next to it. That's a lot of...
My Dad is in Assisted Living and my Uncle being 4 years older passed two years ago at 90 but my picture to my brother and cousins (Uncle's kids) brought a lot of the same joy these two were known for. But I digress...
I was wondering this past week why nobody was concerned about Jim's chickens since I didn't see them at the yard sale. Then I thought why you especially would not be concerned and the answer came with the revelation that these therapy chickens likely each had the names of Bigten coaches and became fewer and fewer as the season progressed. Vanquished shall we say. Musings.
So the cupboards not bare for Texas. Strengths will be played and weaknesses masked. Can R. Moore coach the secondary? I'd trust what he is seeing over anyone at this point. He needs McBurrows ear.
Michigan ain't Iowa. There are functional players on offense and they practice against an even better defense which the last three years shows that iron sharpens iron. I see where you are coming from but these guys have earned my benefit of the doubt. Sherrone pivoted early at PSU and did what won against the number one run defense at the time. Just add earth movers.
Remember Saban's comment about huddling and little time to change the defensive call? Now add movement of an extra lineman or two and quick snap when set maybe with a late motioning Tight End as well to overload and win a numbers battle. Thought I saw some of this but could be wrong.
The defense will handle things enough that a first , second read or run QB can grow early stacking wins. Texas lost its DT's and our defense beat the team that beat Texas. The offense will PSU Texas only with a better runner and the line will mature every game. I mostly hope Coach Tress can keep our guys unbreakable and available so the learning curve can flourish. Exciting and different football to be had. Mostly have concerns about recruiting WR's. 7 olinemen doesn't bother me.
