I stayed in Jacksonville at the beach for the Florida vs. Georgia game. We rented a condo at the beach and it was really a great place to stay. The price is comparable to a hotel and they still have availablity. The couple that owns the place are big Michigan fans which is a bonus. We decided we are staying in a hotel with a restaurant this year but these condos are really nice. Below is the contact info. Alicia is really quick to respond and she has the website info. We found it on HomeAway.com.

Is there any chance Micigan could make it to the Gator Bowl? I would think they would have to beat Purdue and pull an upset over Whisky or OSU. I would think the Gator Bowl would pick Michigan over Penn State/Illinois/Northwestern if they are all 8-4. Out of these 4 teams OSU/MSU/Iowa/Wisconsin 2 would play in BCS games and the other 2 would go to the Outback and Citris bowls. I am withing driving distance of Jacksonville and this would be my first oppurtunity to see a game since leaving Michigan.

I just think we may have been better off keeping some of the defensive coaches who new big ten football. Lloyd was famous for not prepparing teams against weak opponents. In 2006 English put together a pretty good defense. I would rather lose to an Oregon and an App State team who won 3 straight FCS championships than get my ass kicked by every big ten team and almost Umass.

We are not spoiled brats. We root for the winningest football team in college football. I have been a Rich Rod supporter but after 3 years I am starting to second guess that support. Lloyd was borring as hell but he knew how to win in the big ten. Rich Rod would be the best OC in the country but I am starting to wonder if he has what it takes to be a head coach in the big ten. Tressell, Ferentz, Dantonio, Paterno, Fitzgerald, and Hope have all out coached Rich Rod. I was tired of Lloyd's borring offense but he was never dominated by all of these coaches excluding Tressell. The defense is embarrissing in year 3 even considering the inexperience. It might be time to face the facts an accept that we maid the same mistake Nebraska made with Callahan. A good coach learns how to adapt to the players he has. Also at some point you have to expect that both your offense and defense would both improve. After watching the Iowa game I realized both Tate and Denard should be on the feild at the same time. If you had to choose one I still choose Denard but he has not proved he can pass against the real defenses in the big ten. Rich Rod should have held over either Ron English or other coaches from Lloyd's defensive staff.

It is comical how people down here freak out in the snow. The weather forecasts call for snow and they start closing schools and businesses a day before the snow even arrives. Coming from Michigan it seems so foreign to close things down for less than an inch of snow. Last month we received less than 2 inches which created wide spread panic.

Do you have to donate $250 per ticket or a total donation of $250?

I tried to change the subtitle and the listing but ebay will not give me that option. I guess it is because people have already bid on the item.

It covers the costs of me shipping to Michigan overnight. I live in North Carolina and it usually takes three days. I usually offer priority shipping for $5 if the buyer is comfortable with that.

Ebay's fees were lower and I thought that an auction would get me a better price. I did not know that Stub Hub offered auctions.

I had know idea there was a row A. I have never had seats this close before.

It is a huge entertainment complex about 1 mile off the beach. There are numerous sports bars there and I am sure one of them carries The Big Ten Network. I think Stool Pigeons has televisions in every booth. Not sure if they carry the BTN though.
|5 years 9 weeks ago||ESPN 2 Coverage Map||
I think the reason there is no coverage map for ESPN 2 is because Michigan vs. Indiana is the only 12pm game on that channel. So I would guess that it will be on ESPN 2 nation wide.

I am going to the Florida vs. Georgia game this year. I hear it is a pretty cool experience. The game starts at 1pm so I should only miss the first half of M vs. Illinois.

Michigan Against The World! I am so sick of the media's general hatred of Michigan. They will do their talking on the field.

If I see #8 line up under center on Sept. 5 I think panic might set in. I will get heart burn and my face will turn red with anger. I will probably scream and scare my neighbors.
|5 years 14 weeks ago||I moved to the South||
two years ago and now have a hard time making it back to Michigan. My wife got me tickets to the Florida/Georgia game for my birthday this year. This is probably one of the few games I would like to attend that Michigan is not involved in. It was a great gift but I am torn because Michigan plays Illinois that day. The Florida/Georgia game starts at 1pm and Michigan doesn't start until 3:30 so I should only miss the first half. As far as College Gameday goes I only watch it if I have time. My first child is on the way now and I can't imagine skipping time with him/her to listen to a Buckeye's take on college football or to watch Lee Corso put on funny hats. I can usually only manage to block off the schedule during the actual game time. I consider myself lucky and smart because I married a huge Michigan football fan. My wife gets just as stressed as I do if we are running late getting to a Television before kickoff off on Michigan gameday.

Lloyd Carr was the keynote speaker at my Senior Athletic Banquet. This was in the spring before the National Championship season. I got an autograph from Derek Alexander and Jarrod Bunch outside the practice facility.

The whole Farve thing has just become an annoyance. I am so tired of hearing about it.

1.) I was born in Jackson, MI raised in Grand Rapids and I now live in Charlotte, NC.
2.)I have been a Michigan fan as long as I can remember. My Grandfather is a Michigan fan and would bring me to games when I was a kid. He took me to Fan Day one August when I was 10 but had the date wrong so we just walked around the sports complex. It was truly amazing walking into the stadium when it was completely empty. There was hardly anyone there so the staff let my Grandfather and I tour the locker room. I have a picture of me sitting in Elvis Grbac's locker and we met Derek Alexander on our way out. Ever since then my fandom only grew stronger. My Aunt has season tickets so before I moved I would go to at least three games year.

Rich Rod came out and said it wasn't said it wasn't him. I would guess it could have been Ron English. Lord knows it wasn't Jim Harbaugh.
|5 years 15 weeks ago||I have 4 tickets in Row 8 for the Western Game on Ebay||
The auction ends in 8 hours and so far there are 0 bids. If I don't get at least face value for them I will be looking to sell in pairs or 4 together at face value. Unfortunately I am not interested in a trade.

|5 years 16 weeks ago||1988 against Illinois||
I was nine years old. At that point it was the biggest thing I had ever seen and every thing since has paled in comparison. I just remember my chest dropping into my stomach the first time I walked into the stadium. I walked through the gate with my Grandfather to see over 100,000 people screaming and the marching band playing "The Victors". I will never forget that moment for the rest of my life.
|5 years 17 weeks ago||You're Right||
As sad as it is you're right. A drubbing of either North Carolina, NC State, or Clemson would be nice. I would love a home and home with one of these teams. It would make it easier for me to catch a game. The biggest thing I miss about Michigan is the Big House.
|5 years 17 weeks ago||I still want Revenge!||
I moved to Charlotte, NC the summer before this game. App State is less than an hour from here. I work with more than 7 App State grads. It was pure hell. I felt like I was being cursed for leaving the state of Michigan. There are still posters in offices commemorating this game. The radio station still bring it up every time Michigan makes national news. The only thing that can stop this is a rematch and a 40 point victory.

Can someone link the Rivals page that confirms this? I still don't see it on Rivals or mlive.
|5 years 40 weeks ago||Sorry for the errors||
I just was going off memory. I guess I should have done some research. Thanks to simple math I was able to figure out I was nine. That is if I remember the year I was born correctly. Either way if is wasn't 1 vs. 2 they were both highly ranked and the INT seemed like 80 yds. I was pretty young then too.
