I'm actually not wanting to focus on whether the recruits are white or black or whatever. But JB's recruits who've actually seen the floor are Stu, Novak, Lucas-Perry (transfer), Cronin, Vogrich, and Darius Morris. Next year he's bringing in Smotrycz, Hardaway, hopefully Zeigler, and I don't know anything about Brundidge. In any case, there's not a single guy in this list who is physically intimidating as a post-up player or as a defender/rebounder in the paint (I can't count Cronin with a straight face). Perhaps Jordan Morgan will be that kind of guy, but we need more...
I don't have a problem with Belein or his system, but it would be nice if we recruited a player or two who includes protein in their diet. Sure, Duke is doing ok this year, but there aren't many teams dominating college ball by recruiting a bunch of skinny white guys. Belein's teams at WV were good, but does his system prohibit recruiting a player or two who could pass as a DE or TE on a football team?
