Kovacs has been a sensational memeber to this team and university, but has he really been one of the most influential 30 or so athletes in michigan football history?

True, but if i had to rank these as of now, 1.randolph 2.crawford 3.richardson 4.brown 5.howard 6.morris(hasnt done anything yet) Surely we are on the rise, but lets not forget msu consistantly is getting deep in the tourny... believe or not but that does matter to many recruits. I think we are definitley at the rate t join them with our recent success recruiting, but there is a long ways to go
He is still a top 100 prospect regardless of whether he goes to just one sport or not. I don't think this will kill us by any means. I still think we get McDowell and Booker in basketball. However, we still just lost a top tier instate kid. Will it kill us? no. But like it or not it is a loss, we will recover no dount though.

with all bias aside, Browne is the top qb prospect this year. He doesn't give defenders a chance to break up a play. My only concern with him, and it is a very small one, is that he looks for the deep routes too often. Again very small, but something to look for going forward. I love Swoopes. Without the state title debocle, he would be top ten for me. He seems to be a Vince Young the second, but the title game really caused concern for me. One thing about Young is regardless where he has been, regardless of his stats, he always keeps his team in the game. After getting shelled in the most important game of the year, I am not so sure he can do that. He will be a very good QB but can he single handly defeat a, perhaps dominant Oklahoma team? Some is maturity, but some is a very special skill that is only in a guy like Tebow or Young. Morris has all of the tools needed to be a heisman winner, but lacks decision making. Even on plays that may result in the apparent touchdown, he often decides to throw in well defended areas. Luckly he has a bullet like throw so he shouldn't get picked all that often, but when the ball gets deflected, anything can happen.
I did put a lot of qbs in the top 200 but what impressed me about Terry was his patience. He would wait until a defender made one wrong step, and immeadiatley put the right throw there. Sure he has some kinks to work out, but he will cause fits for any secondary who tries to jump routes. For example, he could tear apart any of those ball hawking Iowa defenses who make all of the picks because he simply wouldn't give them oppurtunities, however for a more disciplined secondary, he will struggle.
I have had this weird feeling since nkemdiche committed that he is going to Clemson. I have a feeling that our most recent committment will probably end the chances of Fuller to Michigan. I think the fact that he hasn't committed to Virginia Tech yet really says a lot. My guess is O'Daniel is going to be recruiting him pretty hard. I was really bummed when we stopped recruiting O'Daniel. Not only is he a terrific talent, but I think we would have then gotten Fuller. I hope we still get Fuller however as he is an elite talent.
I have watched a few tapes of some of 247's top 100 as well as a few other Michigan targets. In my opinion Hand will be better than Nkemdiche, however no Clowney, and while I know we are all in love with Peppers, Jalen Tabor is someone to really keep an eye on. According to scout we are "in the fight" but out of his powerhouse high school it will be tough to get him. I think he is just as good as prospect. I watched McDowell's which was impressive, but watching right after Hand's was not a good idea. The other three prospects that really impressed me who are not in the early five stars were USC committ Jordan Poland, Georgia's (very soft) commit Nick Glass who will be taking a Michigan visit, and the incredibly hard hitting Clifton Garrett. He will be taking a Michigan visit for the big house barbque.
Jones was in my next ten and just missed the 200, he was one of the guys who I watched the full tape.... He has a strong set of offers, and I think will grow into a good playmaker. My biggest problem with him was the lack of a power running skill set, something needed in the SEC. He had a very nice juke move, but I am not convinced that will be something he can rely on in college. While I think Alabama has recruited some nice lineman, I don't see him getting those holes to run through. For me, he was "unproven" rather than a poor prospect. I think he can be a very good offensive weapond if occasionally used at reciever, but in that relativley crowded backfield, I don't see hime becoming an everydown back.

I tried to dothese rankings based on potential also. While he is a very good lineman now, I didn't feel he had quite as high of ceiling as some other lineman. I also didn't rate lineman quite as high as most sites do.
With all due respect I hope that Devin Gardner and Vincent Smith are not the ones leading us to victory.... However a couple of late touchdowns to cap off the blowout would be nice.

Personally I think maize and blue deli is reasonably priced and gives a solidsandwich, however, it is not even close to the quality of zingermans regardless of price, and with all of the good restaurants in the ann arbor area, I will probably not go to the deli that many more times... 3 was enough to know what it is... good, but not fantastic or great
