He also may have hit the deep ball. It is what it is. I’m not saying it as a knock on JJ, I liked Cade. Just saying the “JJ is gonna take the roof off the offense” is…not there yet.
Rarely negative. Been much higher on Harbaugh through the tough years than most here, and much higher than Cade than most last year. I’m simply not sold on JJs decision making under pressure.
If I’m wrong, I’ll say “awesome, happy to be so wrong” and then shrug my shoulders. And still not care about what you think of my credibility. The internet is weird. 🤣
Eh. That’s what people will say, but like I said, I’ll be extremely happy to be wrong. The thing is that I don’t really care if I’m wrong or not. I see what I see, and worry about what I worry about. I see a guy that’s prone to making very big mental errors going up against a team that is extremely good at exploiting mental errors.
The good news is that we’re gonna find out on Saturday. I would love to be wrong. He was some very good luck away from having three TOs vs Maryland, it’s far from a stretch to think he’s going to have a worse time at Kinnick.
Eh. I think we would have won that game no matter who was in charge, but the test is next weekend. JJ, for all his talents, has a tendency to do some remarkably dumb things with the ball. Hope he comes through, of course, but I will not be surprised in the slightest if he has a meltdown of epic proportions.
It’s because those mistakes are the ones we were worried about seeing against a better team, and they’re the same mistakes as last year. Going into Kinnick next week, it’s…alarming.
This defense will make that offense look ok, because they’ll be able to run the ball. On the other side, JJ turns the ball over maybe 8 times, if he’s in the game that long. Gonna get boat raced by…Iowa.
I think you could call the Georgia game the same as the game yesterday, except we were the cupcake in that one. 🤣.
In all seriousness, I hope you guys are right. I really hope we go into Kinnick and JJ can NOT do some of the bad things he’s done against better competition. But that’s the worry, and I guess it won’t go away until he’s in it. I’m not convinced, but I’m also aware I won’t be until he’s actually doing it, so I’m not sure what the answer is.

Remember when JJ was going to take the ceiling off the offense? 🤣
“But if you take this, and that, and disregard this, and add that…then the defense really isn’t bad” 🤣
Maybe. I don’t know. I thought our defense was quite good last year.
Yup. They’re probably like “well, we didn’t expect to be up to Rutgers or anything.”
So then more than he did in previous very tight games? Ok then.
Season high when the opponents are Rutgers, SDSU, and Nevada? Yes. Absolutely.
You should ask. They probably did. They’re probably very, very happy with the performance. That’s it. 🤣
Sure, for that game. Man, you sound like an Iowa fan. 🤣
Eh. Not really.
That’s a great point. Such a great point that the Michigan coaches probably said “those guys? Don’t cover them, he’s probably going to miss anyway”.
The point is to win, and the point if you want to say someone played well is to play well. They didn’t play well. It’ll be ok. It’s ok to say. 🤣
Ok. 🤣
Not to a a fanatic, that’s for sure.
I’m not entitled, you’ll never hear me say something is “unacceptable”. But not good is not good, and it wasn’t good.

So because the qb misses throws, we should not cover the receivers well? That’s bold. I kinda like it 🤣
Let’s just check back on this at the end of the year. It’ll sort itself out. 🤣
You’re gonna get negged for being absolutely correct.
So still more than three of their four games? Yeah, man. Not good.
It’s warranted. That was poor.
Because he flat out missed a few throws. The defense against the pass was not good, I don’t know what else to tell you. It’s an objective truth.
We gave up 8 ypa to Spencer Petras. Let me know when that happens again.
Eh. You can compare and tell me the difference
The offense is just ok, and JJ pretty much = Cade. That’s all.
The defense is bad. That’s it.
They’re worse than not good. 🤣
You do what you want on this defense.
We don’t deserve to win. Trash. Utter trash.
Defense is hot garbage.
I would be extremely happy to run in the second half, on every single play.
Or inside, or from anywhere. 🤣
Or just make one cut on him.
I will be surprised if he doesn’t. Very pleasantly surprised, but very surprised.

I don’t think pointing out that JJ has a tendency to do dumb stuff with the ball on 3 man rushes is making the point you want it to.
I will take those FanDuel points, please and thank you.
It won’t last long. I would love to be wrong, but I’ve got a decent amount of money saying he absolutely shits the bed next weekend.
Let’s check back in next week. 🤣

A super hot take would be to suggest that JJ has less than four turnovers next weekend.

8-4 is pretty optimistic
JJ is still JJ. Kinnick is gonna be wild. 🤣
So how are the hotels in Detroit? 🤣

Option one sounds a lot better going into Kinnick, if I’m being honest.
