|5 days 5 hours ago||Went to South Lyon HS||
Very meh, not bad, not great. Probablly good enough to make the state playoffs every other year. No state championships. Our most noteworthy player produced was Dave Brandon.
South Lyon East on the other hand, the players parents think they are Alabama, and are leading a campaign to get other sports at the school to be eliminated in order to put more money into the football program in order to get more of their kids scholarship attention. I kid you not, the team won two games last year.

Has to be one of those crazy Wings fans who think Howard is the worst goalie in the history of the NHL.

Took the Oakland job.
Sorry, couldn't resist.

You can debate the academics, but athletically, they would be a fantastic addition. In addition to the football program, which is the Michigan of the South (winningest program in "modern era" of college football), they have a sweet 16 basketball program, I believe in gymnastics they won a National Championship this year, won it last year in softball, they also would bring competitive Women's basketball, baseball, perhaps rowing, and wrestling in which they are the 4th most successful program of all time.
Business wise, they would be a revenue cow. They have access to the OKC market, and their AD is one of the best in the biz.
Although their academics make any possible addition to the Big 10 debatable, it's not a bad academic school. I would say Oklahoma is very comparable to Nebraska. They have the most fullbright scholars in the nation.
|1 week 9 hours ago||I compiled the rankings||
For comparison, Here is Nebraska:
So in summary, Oklahoma is no Michigan, and a debatable academic addition, however they are very comparable to Nebraska academically. If they are behind Nebraska, they aren't behind by much.
Also as a side note, I think any University that falls in between 50 and 150 is pretty much the same in academic quality. For example, Michigan State falls at 85 in US News and Report. Great school, but I you can't convince me the 50 or so schools behind them are that much worse.

So that means 3 star.
In all seriousness, people need to chill out some on recruiting stars
|3 weeks 20 hours ago||Your right||
In that no on can 100% prove Dantonio was the defensive mastermind, however Narduzzi has only been a D Coordinator under Dantonio, going back to his Cincy days.
|3 weeks 21 hours ago||It might be||
It could be that at this stage, coaches are going hard after the top guys on their big boards, which are probably the blue chip guys. The Weavers and Johnsons of this world are probably the guys that coaches go after/evaluate later in the process when they strike out on the top names, and then promptley turn into Jake Ryan.
Harbaugh could just be accelerating the process after seeing these guys live, while still going after the top guys.
|3 weeks 21 hours ago||I understand||
But I think you are under the assumption that this class is the two star army. Just looking at Rivals, we have the no. 16 class, 23 in overall starz. Thats not fantastic, but nothing to be ashamed at. We could still very much win with it, especially considering we are still in on our top guys like Gary and Kelly.
Just pointing out as well, We have been nationally embarrased these past two seasons and have had exactly one relevant season the past seven years. We are not going to have a top five class before one game of the Harbaugh era.
|3 weeks 1 day ago||Yes||
I guarantee you, ask any Heisman winner if they would rather have a Heisman or a Pro Bowl appearance, everyone except for the first ever Heisman winner would choose Pro Bowl, because that means they made it in the NFL which a lot of Heisman winners can't say.

|3 weeks 2 days ago||Plus I think the SEC has been down||
The Auburns, Alabama's and the LSU's have been as good as anyone in the country, however I think there is a huge drop off after that. I think the overall depth of the SEC is what's vastley overrated.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Sepp Blatter?||
Is that you?
|3 weeks 3 days ago||To be fair||
I don't think Dantonio's offense needs an elite QB to be productive. As long as the QB can be a good game manager, the offense will be ok, especially considering the success of the running backs abd the curgent state of their o-line. Connor Cook appears to be an elite gamemanager, and based on what I've heard about Cousins, he had insane intangibles.
|4 weeks 5 hours ago||Seriously, relax.||
According to Rivals, our 2016 class is ranked 19 both in overall and average stars. Pretty sure that's usually the high end on where MSU, Wisconsin, and Nebraska usually end up. This is dispite the fact that our coach has only been there five months and has taken over a program that has been nationally embarrassed these past two years. We are also STILL IN ON OUR TOP TARGETS such as Gary and Bredson.
Oh did I mention this is the same guy that turned unheard of three stars into Richard Sherman and Colby Fleener?
But by all means, go ahead and panic.

Considering several of the rooms were put out if commission for some time, you have to add in the cost of lost business Treetops may have had. Also, the damage may seem relatively small, but replacing several cabinets, floors, ceiling tiles, and other various costs will add up fast especially if the damage took place in multiple rooms and in an entire hallway. That's not even taking into count the cost of labor.
|7 weeks 4 days ago||I'm just going to go ahead and say it||
Not in relation to just your comments, but the last several from various posters. Anyway,
