Michigan wouldn't be the only one that would have a live dangerous animal living on campus. Baylor has a live bear exhibit in the heart if their campus. They actually used to have students take the bears for walks accross campus.

GRCC doesn't have a team anymore. If he went to Grand Valley on the other hand, me and all of Allendale would be ecstatic.

As someone whose lived in both Grand Rapids and South Lyon, here's my advice:
Move to the West side if you want to raise a family. Grand Rapids is a booming city that has been built by a few billionaire philanthropists. It's a very safe city as well, I used to live downtown and would go on night distance runs. Nearby town of Holland was named as the second happiest town in America. Plus Lake Michigan is right nearby. Overall the West side would be the absolute best choice if you like beer and raise a more conservative/religious family, although it's still a great place to live even if your not.
South Lyon has benefits, but there is a massive drug problem in the schools.

But in his defense, journalists are taught in college to write no higher than a high school level, so that people of all education backgrounds can read the news.

I know someone who works in the Pistons front office. According to him, the Pistons are trying to free up money to offer Jim Harbaugh a "mega deal."

Since Harbaugh is under contract right now with The 49ers, teams can't be speaking to Harbaugh about being the head coach as that would be tampering.
I'm not even sure if you can have trade discussions right now as it is past the trade deadline.

REPORTER: Are you interested in the ____ Coaching Job?
COACH: Hell Ya! They are going to offer me a crap ton more money than this hell hole. Besides, I think this team is maxed out and is going to regress next year, but what can I say, I wouldn't have to recruit from this crap talent pool when I'm at ____.

I think the comments regarding the misrepresentation and stereotyping of student athletes as dumb jocks was very well said. From the experince that I have with college athletes, most student athletes are very hard workers and get solid grades. Many athletic departmets have Cumulative GPAs of 3.0 and over. The stereotypes come from the two revenue sports, which although may be true in some cases, certainitly don't represent everyone in those two sports. I'd like to see the average college student try to maintain a soild GPA having to adjust to living in a new state, having time commitments similar to that as a full-time job, withstand grueling physical expectations, and spend significant time out of the classroom due to roadtrips.

I'm calling BS on all of this report. I could see it happening if Michigan were to blowout NW, Maryland, and completly obliterate Ohio State and their bowl opponent, but there is no way that is happening. It's clear that alumni and students wanted anyone associated with this year's football team cleared out, or else they wouldn't have called for the head of the whole athletics program to be fired. If Hoke comes back, that means alumni are going to stop donating because he is Hoke and not Golden Boy Jim, and season ticket sales for students are still going to struggle, one of the reasons that ousted Brandon.

If this story were to be picked up by a major news outlet, such as ESPN, Detroit News, or Deadspin, I'd imagine they would go ahead and pay the FOIA amount in order to do their own reporting.

I 100 percent agree that Narduzzi deserves a college football head coaching job, however I'm not sure he deserves the head coaching gig at a program like Michigan. Although Narduzzi has had success, since 2004 he's only been a coordinator under Dantonio, so you can't definitely say that Narduzzi, and Narduzzi alone is responsible for that defense.
If you do go the coordinator route, I'd say that a guy like Tom Herman would be a better fit, as he has had really good sucess at Rice, Iowa State, and now Ohio State all under different head coaches. Plus, say what you want about Urban Meyer, but he has produced some outstanding head coaches from his coaching staffs.
