3 days 21 hours ago Yep

2 weeks 2 days ago Just playing devil's advocate

True, but who drafted those young pieces?
In fact, Dumars has drafted pretty well considering they've only picked in the top five once since the Darko pick.
And yea, now we can say the Darko pick was a disastor, but at the time Joe D. was a young GM who was just doing what pretty much everyother NBA GM would've done in his shoes. He orchestrated a brilliant trade that cost us nothing in order to pick in that spot, in which he selected a  prospect who the majority of scouts labeled as a "can't miss." He was a project, but with the roster we had at the time we could afford to take a project.
Joe D's rebuilding job was set back by Karen Davison who told Dumars she wasn't going to pay for a high profile coach (Johnson) which resulted in the Kuester hire. Joe D. then wanted to hire Woodson, but was over ruled by Gores.
Depending on what he does with this cap space, I think Joe could still turn this around

3 weeks 6 days ago Outrage!

I can't vote for Dan Cleary!?!

3 weeks 6 days ago Actually this happened in 1908

Herman "Germany" Schaefer of the Detroit Tigers did something like this back in 1908. The story goes that he was on first while another man was on third. The Tigers wanted to steal home by baiting the catcher to throw out a stealing Schaefer. Apparently when they tried this, the catcher held onto the ball, allowing Schaefer to steal second. However, the Tigers wanted to try this again. So naturally Schaefer stole first, then tried to steal second again. Unfortanatley that catcher held on to the ball on all three attempts.

4 weeks 1 day ago Maybe Big Will has been kicking

It sounds like these guys are good at finding sleepers...at kicker. It seems like that's half of their list.

4 weeks 3 days ago Draft record is pretty good

Basically any pick outside of the top five, it's hard to get an impact player. Considering Joe D. has never picked inside the top five since he was a young GM, he's found some pretty good value picks.

5 weeks 21 hours ago Nice!

Also in other news, RCMB is already labeling Harris as the most hated Michigan football player of all-time

5 weeks 2 days ago Good Gosh

Good gosh Villreal is bad! So much so I'm not even going to spell his name right

5 weeks 4 days ago True

Then again, that same person probably convinced him to stay for his sophmore season.

6 weeks 16 hours ago I'm predicting lots of jobs will be lost

6 weeks 4 days ago That's true

However the issue is that VCU doesn't play in the toughest basketball conference in the nation.

6 weeks 5 days ago The dumb stuff

The dumb stuff we did like attempting to rob someone? However I beileve that the great thing about our country is that we have an opportunity for second chances at life. Hopefully he's a changed man

11 weeks 2 days ago Not that bad

In the past ten years we had the Wings, who are well, the Wings, The Tigers have won two American League Pennants, The Pistons went to seven straight Eastern Conference Finals, including a championship. Yea Michigan was down this decade, but it's not like its been all that bad, I mean a few years ago we were ranked as the number 1 sports town in the US!

11 weeks 5 days ago My solution

What they should do is move Chicago and Detroit to the East, instead of Columbus. Let the five Blue Jacket fans b*tch all they want.

11 weeks 6 days ago On his visit

I heard that on his visit, some Alabama co-eds showed him their bra strap, the kid committed on the spot

13 weeks 2 days ago Old, injured

Who cares, despite his age and recent injury history, he still has a better chance to staty healthy than Delmas. I couldn't even tell you who our other safety is.

13 weeks 3 days ago Hookers

Hookers you say? Keep Craig James Away!

15 weeks 5 days ago I disagree

I like Bielfeldt as well, however he's too small for the NBA. He's only 6'7"

EDIT: not fast enough on the draw, beaten to the punch

16 weeks 20 hours ago Lots of choices

I can't decide between Ryan Mallet, Will Cambell, or Justin Turner. All three were highly ranked recruits at positions of need that ultimatly set us back.

Mallet: Kid looked like a taller, more accurate version of Sugar Shane. He played pretty good in his one season with us. However, ultimatly him leaving (or Rich Rod forcing him out) forced us to play a Sheridan/Threet, and then a fresman QB.

Cambell: Big Will looked like a stud. He was blessed with the size and strength to be something special. He should've turned into stud. Unfortanetly that pad level (or lack of coaching in his first three years).

Turner: Looked like a stud in the Army All American game. I remember a lot of people comparing him to Charles Woodson. Was at a HUGE position of need. Ultimatly he couldn't find any playing time despite the worst secondary in Michigan history.

Also, I don't know if anyone established this yet, but Hart never played for Rich Rod.

16 weeks 1 day ago Tennessee Blogs

I haven't found a lot of chatter on Tennessee blogs about Derrick Green. It seems they've conceided him to Michigan. However, apparently the Vols sent four coaches to visit him this week.

16 weeks 2 days ago UNC, Duke, Virginia, Georgia Tech

UNC, Duke, Virginia, Georgia Tech, that's who I see them adding. There has already been a lot of speculation in the ACC region about this. I wouldn't be opposed to them adding UNC, Duke, and Virginia. I think the Big Ten also goes hard after Georgia Tech to get the Atlanta market.

16 weeks 2 days ago Worse

Worse, lets trade him to the Jets. I don't even care if we get anything in return.

16 weeks 5 days ago Ok

Sweet, thanks for the clarification.

16 weeks 6 days ago Is that an official rule?

I'm not sure about that. Ganted its D2, but I know schools like Grand Valley, Wayne State, Ferris State, have fewer scholarships to give, so they compensate by breaking up the scholarships and giving out only partial ones. They routinly have classes over 25-27 kids, all of which are receiving some kind of scholarship. Same thing for other sports; I was offered a partial scholarship to run cross country at the D2 level. I don't see how it would be different at the D1 level unless there is a special rule for football, which wouldn't surprise me.

17 weeks 1 day ago Other celebrity judge

I heard that Te'o's girlfreind is a judge as well

18 weeks 1 day ago Who are we still pursuing...

Treadwell, Diggs, Diamond, Hart, Parker. There's also some hotshot QB named Terrell Pryor out there. Heard its down to us and Ohio State, although I think he's quite overrated.

18 weeks 4 days ago I think

I think they could go with Chuck Martin, their offensive coordinator/assistant coach. He came from a simlar background and Kelly loves him. Martin might be Notre Dame's Luke Fickell and hold the job for a year untill a "big name" can be hired

20 weeks 20 hours ago Wait...

If Urban Meyer is our coach, does that mean we get Tebow to?
