Not all that difficult

This was a quality picture pages, but to say that this type of defense is extremely challenging to implement at the college level I just can't agree with. I ran a similar defense in high school called Blizzard where the corner and safety were expected to read #2 and respond according. It involves making 1 read. Maybe I'm missing something but I just don't see what makes that so challenging for college level athletes?

Wrong video embedded in 2004-2005 season

Hey Tom. The video you embedded in the 2004-2005 season is actually from the 2005-2006 season. You can tell because at the start they show the last time Michigan played Notre Dame was December 3rd, 2005. The only way they could possibly be playing ND in the NIT after that would have had to be in 2006.

A really awesome post though. Took me back to some great memories in the stands with my Dad. Thanks for that.

And I quote: "Barring a major change in philosophy (not impossible) from Coach Beilein, we will stick with our "5-out" / "1-post" offense."

What Nick actually said.

What you said.

"I will play the game of beginner and ask why "5 out" and "1 in" would lead a novice to believe that there is 6 players on the court? "

You took something totally out of context, and flamed the hell out of him for making a logical point and legitimately contributing to the discussion in this thread. Something that you as a "novice", failed to even attempt.

But alas, haterz gone hate.
