1 week 3 days ago	I am NOT blaming Michigan for my debt,	but the whole atmosphere of higher education in general.  What was the cost of college 20 years ago compared to what it is now?  What did the average BA grad make upon graduation and what are they making now?  I have a feeling that college grads 20 years ago made as much or more than they do today upon entering the workforce.  However, I would imagine that the cost of education has gone WAY up in that same 20 years, despite the average income staying the same (or maybe even decreasing).   I guess my actual point is that higher education is a racket.  One must think of college as a literal investment and be completely job/career focused the entire time.  I didn't.  I went to college because it was the thing to do.  I admittedly loved college, but wish I knew then what I know now.  My mistake.

But I know that if a football coach sucks (I mean you RR), then that person will be canned.  Coaching is competition based.   I'm not saying a sports coach should be getting paid millions of dollars, but I don't think that the head of a public institution should be either.  I know I paid (am still paying) a LOT for my education at Michigan, and I am not feeling that return on my investment.  College these days is WAY OVERPRICED and the HUGE increase in cost doesn't translate into a better education or better jon prospect.  This is where our money is going...

3 weeks 2 days ago	Also keep in mind,	That you're in a college town filled with young drunk kids without supervision.  Lots of people around A2 aren't students at Michigan.  I've been harrassed verbally and physically as well by people there too.  I'm not gay, but there are lots of drunken assholes out late at night trying to prove something to somebody.  The state of Michigan has a lot of rednecks and assholes who are looking to beat the shit out of someone for no reason.  Do you think Montee Ball was beat up last year because he was gay?  Do you think it was because he was black?  I bet you neither on of those was necessarily the motivation behind that.  That's just my opionion.
3 weeks 2 days ago	I would agree with you...	And also wonder why people would downvote your comment.  Be your own person and not be identified by who you're banging. It seems like Rahm Emmanuel is the mayor of this board and it's demanded that everyone be open-minded unless they have a different opinion than the machine.  In that case, they are intolerant and are unwelcome because we only accept people who respect other people's opinions (unless they are different than our own).   We won't toerate intolerance here.

That's funny as my brother went to undergrad at Kentucky which he loves, and then went to law school at Ohio.  He's reasonble in rooting for KY in basketball and Ohio for football.  Although he freely admits that UK is his #1 and would never root against them no regardless of whom they played.  He also will root for Michigan (where I went) and State (where our other brother went) depending on whether or not they're playing his schools.  It's a tricky sports family but my father roots for Michigan regardless of their opponent.  Go Blue!

8 weeks 5 days ago	I would agree.	Our post play/strategy/talent seems to have a negative affect on rebounding.  I wish we were less of a finesse team and more of an inside power team.  When the shots aren't falling (like last night for Burke), the inside post is often times what's needed to win.

In that I think that the schools should get all of the money from their stadium revenue on game days and in return the students get scholarships.  However, I also think that when it comes to video games and jersey sales, I believe the students should get a cut from their respective likenesses.  It's a multi-billion dollar business and the broke kids can't sell an autograph without being criminalized.   Delaney doesn't seem to have a problem giving away the schools money to Maryland though.    What a sham.
