Pittsburgh defense has been extremely impressive, either that or Alex Smith tops out at journeyman... Really wish Carr hadn't've gotten hurt.

ABQ and Santa Fe are great, but I definitely get being underwhelmed by Alamagordo.

|2 days 2 hours ago||Not worried, he's been||
Not worried, he's been committed for two years and hasn't wavered. He hasn't had a chance to go in any visits but to Michigan, I don't blame him for taking another opportunity to get the red carpet treatment.

Damn! That's a shame, was hoping he wouldn't just leave for an NFL lateral move. Seems strange.
|4 days 10 hours ago||It's more the curse of the long time lead||
That Michigan does not quite land for whatever reason. In almost all of these cases the guy is either looking for something that he does not find with Michigan or Michigan takes on a feeling of being a backup option and the player is more easily swayed by the new school coming into the picture.
I see nothing nefarious in any of this. Wilson and Collins both seem to fit into patterns that have gone against Michigan in previous years. It just happens that Michigan has lost to the same school in both cases(and with Collins, it's not over). There is a lot to like about Georgia and it's in the first full recruiting cycle of a coach witha good reputation and hot name, this isn't exactly rocket science to see why things haven;t necessarily gone the way Michigan would like.
|4 days 10 hours ago||I agree, but there are going||
I agree, but there are going to be some(especially whoever the dude was that was a bulldog on the Gibbons thing) that will seize on it and run with it. I'm just making a point about optics and maintaining the program image vs. trying to draw any equivalence between the two.
|4 days 10 hours ago||Long term, that's probably||
Long term, that's probably fine. In the short term as far as next year, there just doesn't seem to be a lot of experienced bullets in the chamber at a position that requires a lot of mental gymnastics and technique work and is thus highly variable. It is tough to see next years line and say it will be better than this years. The 2018 line should be much better.

That has to be a joke.
He has to know there is no way his comment turns out well otherwise.
|4 days 10 hours ago||No, The BRandon Gibbons thing||
The BRandon Gibbons thing is something the program does not want to go through again. Letting LTT back in the program re-opens those questions. It just doesn;t seem like a good idea.
|4 days 11 hours ago||Not sure about that,||
Not sure about that, depending on where you are Mexico City is pretty cool.
But otherwise, you're right, there aren't many places left that can support an NFL team.

Mark Davis doesn't have two nickels to rub together and couldn't come up with the financing in LA the way he can in Vegas with Sheldon Adelson. I am also relatively certain that the Rams owner pulled some major strings as I am certain he wants NO part of the Raiders moving to LA.
|4 days 11 hours ago||Portland and Oklahoma City||
Portland and Oklahoma City are out in my opinion as OKC is barely big enough for an NBA team. If an NFL team is going to go anywhere I would think it would be San Antonio.
I think Tampa has the Orlando market covered.
|4 days 11 hours ago||Stupid, just completely||
Stupid, just completely fucking stupid. No-one in LA gives two shits about the Chargers, so they just destroyed one fan base in the interest of building one in a city that doesn't give a shit about them.
Raiders to Vegas makes a certain amount of sense(if you are a product of an inbred gene-pool the way it appears Mark Davis is), but this is just stupid and it's going to come back to bite the Spanos' HARD.
|4 days 12 hours ago||I had a similar thought, but||
I had a similar thought, but I hesitate as he has been extremely itinerant through his career and it's tough to assess his recruiting. Nevada is playing well now, but it's hard to determine if it's him or the players. There's not a great track record to judge his recruiting and he wasn't great in the NBA.
Selfishly, I am from Nevada and have several friends who are Nevada alums and kind of want the Nevada program to stabilize a bit for their sakes. I don't really care beyond being randomly happy when I see Nevada won.

|5 days 15 hours ago||Here's what frustrates me.||
Here's what frustrates me. Didn't we hire Donlon to fix the defense? And despite this the defense is actually getting worse. At this point there's something majorly systemically wrong and I don't think there is a fix other than up top. Which, like with hockey, is problematic for a number of reasons.
So does this mean we're stuck in a death spiral until an admired coach chooses to leave on his own? Or do we have to "pull a Bowden" and deal with the resulting PR hit? Which is something the university does not seem particularly eager to do.

Thanks for the memories Jabrill! What a pleasure to see him play!
|6 days 9 hours ago||Good for him, may he achieve||
Good for him and it's awesome he has the opportunity to do this. It's the right decision and may he achieve everything he wants to in the NFL. Can't wait to root for him(unless he plays for The Broncos and then I'll wait til he moves to a team that's not the worst).

I don't know, their offense was pretty legit by the end of the year. Sadly, as long as Barkley is around they are always going to be dangerous.

Hudson I think was interested in State as was Honigford. Basically anyone out of the Ohio-Michigan-Indiana-Illinois area is someone we are still going to go toe-to-toe with State for. I just expect it to go the way State doesn't like very much.
