Are you on 24, that's the only place I found that is consistently bad.

If there on a Sunday and just want to hang out take a drive to Arrington Vineyards. They have free music during the day and sell wine for the adults and let you bring picnic stuff, it's a beautiful way to spend an afternoon.

I live in Nashville. Hattie B's for hot chicken and you can get the kids the southern fried for the ones who don't like the spice. Science center is good, if you want somewhere a little more kid friendly you can take them to downtown Franklin and run them by the Mellow Mushroom for Pizza and then there's a chocolate shop with good ice cream just down the road. There're some nice parks along the Harpeth river as well and of the kids like hiking there're some great trails near the Natchez Trace. Taking the kids down Broadway and then to the Country music hall of fame is fun during the day. Have fun!

It's consistently #5 behind the big three and Georgia. Every few years a Virginia, Pennslyvania, or Louisiana will overtake it but Ohio is a definitive #5.

Longest I made it was about 72 hours. I was in the Air Force and got surprised by a "mobility inspection". I took the night shift at the command center and had my guys go home, I got caught up in exercise activities throughout the following day and by the time I got home that afternoon there was enough time to shower and eat dinner before going back to the command center.
After that night shift was over, I gambled that the exercise would not go another night and so I made myself stay awake during the day so I could get back to a normal sleep cycle that night. At five I got the call to report back and so headed back to the command center where I spent most of the night just tying up some loose ends and really around midnight it was mostly over. I did have one phone call that came in at five in the morning that I realized after about a minute I had not heard a word of what the person at the other end of the line was saying and they were expecting an answer, so I invented an excuse as to why they needed to talk to someone else, handed the phone off and prayed that there would be no more reasons for me to have to make decisions until we were relieved at eight. I was told to stick around until nine as that was when we would be formally released from the exercise, which was the grand bull moose of mixed emotions for me at that minute.
Driving home that morning was not fun at all and when I got home I slept for ten hours woke up, ate dinner, showered and played with my son for a a little bit, and watched a little tv with the wife before I went straight back to bed. Six months later I refused my follow on assignment and started the separation process.

I have a feeling this is a case of "Just keep things steady, so I can focus on my real job." from Hollis.
Let's face it if MSU gave two shits about hockey they wouldn't have hired Anastos in the first place.

One could argue the World Cup final was more of an achievment by Lowe. Also, what Pochettino has done through his club career is extremely impressive and is much better than taking Germany's best team and running it into the ground in one year.

The thing with conspiracy theories is they have to be at least VAGUELY plausible.

There goes my personal favorite theory.......
|2 days 12 hours ago||Oh, Please.||
Spare me. Venezuelas economy was poised on a house of cards the entire time with soaring costs per barrel and declining productivity at the oil wells, even when oil prices were good the country was on a pronounced downward slide. The low price of oil just accelerated what had been happening to Venezeula for years just without the ability to use oil money to hide the fact that Venezuela had become a en economic basket case with an out of this world crime rate. This is documented in pretty much every single issue of The Economist published since about 2006.
This is a case in which el jefe shot himself in the foot without the US helping it along. Chavez' pyramid scheme was always going to come down with or without him in charge and cancer pretty much happens to everyone.
Not everything is a nail.

The US had been engaged in operations against Iraq through enforcing the no-fly zone and other various and sundry low-level pursuits ever since the end of the first Iraq war. If Bush and Cheney were so hell bent on invading Iraq, there were plenty of opportunities to start something there that didn't involve killing thousands of US citizens, destroying a national symbol in the US' most important city, and introducing a recession. Sorry, that just doesn't pass the smell test, whether you want to apply a moral or a logical lens to it.
I do buy that there were some high level Saudi's who knew something about it and have subsequently been protected due to realpolitk concerns, but that's about as far as I'm willing to go.

It's simple and sleek with a minimum of colors. I like it, but share the concerns of how it would look against a darker background.
At the end of the day I am glad they made a switch to a mascot that is simple but still a good one for sports, some of the ideas getting thrown around were way on the far side of awful.

Chavez died from Cancer and Maduro has kept up Chavez' policies and even doubled down on them. Seems odd to clear the deck just to have the "next man up" be just as big of a pain in the ass to US interests.

As oppossed to the networks calling the state for Gore when the polls closed in Eastern time in order to supress the(heavily military) vote in the part of Florida that is on Central time.
There's a lot of crazy in that particular election. Choose the narrative wisely.

I know but this feels like a moonshot when I think So'ton really just needs to keep the ship steady.
I was going to edit my post to make that more clear, but got beaten to the punch by a comment. Lesson is to do a more careful scan before posting.

It's time for fresh blood for the US, so as long as they pick up someone good(Roberto Martinez is available I think).
Southampton? They're a fairly successful squad right now, why would they mess with a good thing?

When it comes to government conspiracies, I have always taken the perspective of Sir Terry in my favorite quote from Hogfather:
It's amazing how good governments are, given their track records in almost every other field, at hushing up things like alien encounters. One reason may be that the aliens themselves are too embarrassed to talk about it.

Tombstone - Classic lines and my favorite version of the Wyatt Earp legend
The Magnificent Seven - Amazing Cast and great action
Rio Bravo - My favorite John Wayne movie and one of these lists without a John Wayne movie would be wrong.
Blazing Saddles - One of the funniest movies ever made that would not make it half a second into the story pitch today.

Oh Please. I get you're digging in on the point you're making, but wake me up when rickety, and flimsy wooden shanties make up the majority of people's housing. Or do you only go to the touristy areas?

I think it's the general malaise and need to pick holes that is doing this, an athletic wing who can play D seems to fill a lot of holes. That said, I can see how people feel like a guy who was arguably run out of Kentucky isn't a huge get. I disagree but I see the argument.
