4 weeks 1 day ago	C'mon guys	Lets not let this past Final Four run cloud our judgement and basically make us MSU Football fans. Izzo is and will remain one of the top 5 coaches in te country. His track record speaks for itself and his teams are consistent contenders to go deep in the tourney every year. This class is void of big names because it is small and they did indeed go all in on Parker. Say what you want, but Izzo IS going to make another serious FF run before his career is over and his team next year will most likely be a national title contender, possibly favorite if KY doesn't have something to say about it. Our program is in the rise, no doubt - but lets not act like Izzo is on a significant down trend or anything. He is getting up there and may have lost a little magic, but still a top coach who will continue to field good teams.
5 weeks 6 days ago	Not making a prediction	Just using common sense - and I certainly wouldn't thump my chest if I predicted correctly that Trey was going to the league. It's not like I'm going out on a limb. As far as signing bonuses are concerned - admittedly I don't know much about rookie NBA contracts, or NBA contracts in general. But I DO know that NBA first rounders get paid a lot of money, waay more than 99 percent of those who graduate with a UofM degree and have years and years of tenure and experience in their field. These days a bachelors degree is worth about as much as the paper it's printed on (maybe a stretch, but not a huge one) and I seriously doubt Trey's degree would be in a specialized field with high demand and pay (no disrespect to him, just using my common sense.) Unless Alro Steel saw something in Trey that they absolutely loved and wanted to make him a super well paid employee right of the bat, he wouldn't be able make a small fraction of what he would in the league. That, and that whole getting paid millions to play basketball and realize your childhood dream thing. He gone.
5 weeks 6 days ago	He ain't staying guys	He is going to the NBA. I would be absolutely shocked if he stayed. He deserves everything he gets and frankly unless he was dead set on staying 2 more years to get a degree, it would be stupid for him to stay. Even then, his signing bonus would be much, much more than he'd probably make in 20 years with his degree. Dude is gone - he did us well and he deserves to be in the league. It helps is tremendously if he goes high and succeeds.

6 weeks 4 days ago	Maybe I'm in the minority	But I could really care less if Webber is in the stands, and I am getting annoyed by Jalen pushing the issue. I love Jalen and think he's a decent (Decent..not great) ambassador for our University, but I would prefer if the Fab Five not be a huge story tonight. I care much more about guys like Zack Novak, Stu Douglass, Manny Harris, CJ Lee etc. being in the stands than I do Webber. Either way it's about the 5+ guys on the court wearing maize tonight.

10 weeks 1 day ago	Call me a scrooge, or maybe	Call me a scrooge, or maybe it's because I'm not Irish, but I never really got the fascination with St. Patty's Day. The fact that I've seen some people (even established adults) actually take the day off of work to wake up early and wait in line to get trashed from Green Beer all day just blows my mind. I mean, why St. Patty's Day and not another holiday like President's Day, for example. To each his own, I guess, but I'm just not understanding the whole fascination.
19 weeks 4 days ago	Not a Fan of Any Pay Sites	Personally I don't think you can get much more value from them - If you stay up to date with this site and listed to Sam Webb you should be good.   I agree with the smugness - not a fan of really any paysite contributor. I was a member of Rivals during the coaching search and found that most of their info regarding the search was very wrong.

25 weeks 5 days ago	8-4	While losing to 2/3 rivals, and watching them go undefeated, is not a good season. Sorry if I'm a downer. Am proud and always will be proud of our players and coaches, but I expect a lot more than 8-4. Am happy with what Hoke has done so far, but I think Borges' lack of knowing how to use Denard really hurt us. Held us back Big time.

26 weeks 3 days ago	I Agree - But We Didn't	Good teams win games. Saying that they could've beaten Notre Dame, or we should have, completely ignores the fact that we could have also lost to NW & MSU. That's not the way it works - the team with the most points at the end of the game wins, bottom line.
26 weeks 3 days ago	Thanks for the Update	I have recently been flabbergasted at everyone's insinuation that OSU will kill Michigan...and that has been mostly from MSU fans here in  the Detroit area. Look at who we've played, and look at who they've played. Yes, you get points for winning every game on your schedule, because you can only beat who you play.....But does anyone think that OSU would've beat Alabama or ND in South Bend? Should be a great game, and hopefully the start of another 10 Year War.
26 weeks 5 days ago	Brian Kelly	Is having a great year - yes. But let's not assume that "we missed out" just because it looks likely he'll play for a NC. Just because a Coach is having the typ of year he is having, doesn't necessarily mean that he is head and shoulders above everyone else. Sometimes in College Football the chips fall properly and you get lucky - it's true for every team. Sometimes they don't, and your record reflects that you are not that good, even though you might be. Look at Gene Chizik - Dude won a NC in his first year at Auburn, now he's on the chopping block. I think Kelly is a good Coach because he has a track record of winning elsewhere. You can say that for a lot of Coaches - Hoke and Dantonio included. But just because Kelly is staring down the barrell of the NC Game doesn't mean he's necessarily better than Hoke or Dantonio, for example. I think all are good Coaches, although I'm partial to Hoke - partly because he is OUR coach, but also because you can visibly see that he is a good coach from our product on the field.   There are only a handful of Coaches that I would put in a class by themselves, or perhaps even only two - They are Nick Saban and Bill Snyder.

I forget his name (Brice Something?) and remember maybe it had something to do with him leaving on his own.   Any updates on that? I understand "respect his privacy" and everything, but that was all over the news and I would like to know what happened?

We all love Denard and everything he's done for the program, but he's no more important than the Senior who has spent 5 years on Scout team. I'm sure Denard will tell you the same thing.

27 weeks 3 days ago	I Will Be That Guy	Yes, I will be that guy. Like I said all day yesterday to my friends, I think Devin is a better Quarterback than Denard. I think that he has better QB instincts and brings more to the table physically as a QB due to his height etc. Do I think he should start over Denard if Denard is healthy moving forward? No. I think Denard gives us a better chance to win right now due to his experience. But I REALLY wish the staff would've had the foresight and switched their roles on the team, i.e., groomed Devin for the starting spot this year (or even last) and put Denard in a WR/RB/Percy Harvin type role. Would've loved to see that.   Just my .02 - I might be wrong and I acknowledge that, but love what Devin brings to the table and am excited for next year.
