in everyone's life when they just have to suck it up and get it done. my guess is the little hat covers a bald spot, or maybe the shirt covers an embarrassing tattoo about some long-departed girl, or even a school in ohio. sure he's repented from all that, but it's a dark part of his pre-mod life. here's to michigan beating rutgers and you all streaking. even BisB.
|10 hours 42 min ago||If We Win The Mods||
will have to streak across the internet. really, i would never kid about something this serious. just ask them....

talking about an obvious ankle injury takes no access to medical records - watch the tape and see the ankle get sprained. you/me/brandon are not prohibited from saying the word 'sprain' when we can plainly see what happened.
but the concussion injury can only be properly diagnosed by a doctor or other medical health professional. they are prohibited from disclosing that unless consent has been given. i assume there is some type of consent from player to team physicians and likely coaches so the team can function and plan for injury issues, but that is different than a waiver that says, in effect, 'anything the doc tells you, you can put it on twitter, facebook and TV.'
1484 - your otter comment yesterday was hysterical. good one.
edit: this was in response to duloc and 1484, but for some reason posted farther south about 5 comments. oh well.

can't disclose jack squat without the patient's consent. shane had bigger things to deal with and may have wanted to discuss this matter with others, including non-michigan folks, before he said 'okay'.

from deer that dear daughter shot last sunday. and the kids playing football in the hay field at sunset. and barn chores. gave the 3 youngest boys haircuts last night, in prep for church this a.m. and the list could go on quite long just like all of you.
all of that to say, we all love michigan, michigan football, and this blog, but the bottom line is that the things of life and daily living far eclipse football in importance. go blue, enjoy the mgoblog community, but excel at being the best spouse, parent, sibling, grandchild, etc. that you can be and you will only smile at football, and turn it off when we stink. like right now.

had venison tacos for dinner. the venison was from oldest daughter's first buck she shot last sunday. excellent meat.

son #2's team walloped another, and he had a couple of TD's. he + oldest son and i went swimming in lake michigan on the way home from that game, then stopped at another high school game after that. the older sons waxed the pickup truck while i took a nap, watched some college football (not michigan) and i just gave the 3 youngest sons haircuts. and there hasn't been a cloud up north in a week, 75 degrees since last sunday.
so, i'm ticked michigan lost, disturbed about what i'm reading with morris getting put back in a game he was apparently pulled from with his bell rung, but remember, it's college football which is an enjoyable (usually, anyway) diversion, it's not life.

and just clicked on your tag address to 'vpfarming'. going to take me a while to go through that, but my guess is we are quite like-minded. enjoyed the pics, particularly the wonderful family stuff.
as to livestock we are the same as you, but i'd also add eggs, turkeys, some row crops and some fruit to the mix. i also built a bio-diesel reactor in the barn so we can make our own fuel, though i do buy fuel too.
we will harvest most of our turkeys and cows within the next 3 weeks. chickens (meat birds) are already raised/harvested/sold. eggs are on-going.
no chemicals on the farm, meaning our animals have no hormones, antibiotics, etc, and our crops don't depend on fertiizer and pesticide. we pasture all our livestock, including the poultry.
blessings to you and your family.

and i was a bit surprised my freshman year at training camp when he wasn't there.
and as for wilf, he was a very nice guy, but lets just say the pressure got to him and there might have been a problem with the bottle.
giordano on the other hand thought he was the next herb brooks and he inherited an ungodly amount of talent (myself excluded) and crapped in the campfire in epic proportions. i used to call him 'chupamirto', which is the spanish word for humming bird. he had alligator jaws, but a hummingbird rear end, if you know what i mean.

in 1984. we all signed a petition and gave it to the then-AD, don canham, to get rid of the then-coach, john giordano. unfortunately for me that was my senior year and i never got to play for red, but it sure worked out well for the team.

for the next coach, making michigan all the more attractive of a place to work and to get a top-notch coach to come here.
love hoke. would love to see him turn this around, pronto, but that appears extremely unlikely.

for real. and take that photo and post it all over c-bus! buckeyes will look at it like the RCA dog looks at the phonograph. they look like that at SAT scores over 200 too, but that is another thread for another day.

the year that great grandmother was the first woman to graduate from michigan. so important was she that i named our present bird-dog after her (maude). as an aside, we hunted the grouse opener this morning before work. i was 4th gen, one of my brothers has 2 daughters who are the 5th gen. don't know if any of my children will attend, but they will all undoubtedly be life-long fans. who could call them wal-mart fans?
bottom line: if you come by it honestly and aren't just a fair-weather fan, bless your maize and blue heart for pulling for michigan!

from when they are acting like colostomy bags for a given school. i would also tease all my yooper buddies who were G.B. packer fans if they rooted for red china, too. meaning, they didn't live in wisconsin but rooted for the pack, they might as well root for the commies when they played the USA in anything too.
