WD has become very down on the program and is a pain to listen to these days. Haven’t been on here in forever and never really posted much. Surprised about the XM situation.
I don’t know if interesting is the word I would have used. Good article yes. Interesting? Not really. Unless someone doesn’t know about one of the best players to come out of UM.
This post and all the comments are pretty crazy to me. I’ve been here since practically the beginning but didn’t get an account til much later and mainly just lurk. To see it go off the rails like this is beyond words. Over the years there have been A LOT of crazy little events from the funny to the just weird but to see this is just disheartening. I never post but being on this site for so long and knowing so many of you from your screen names it’s pretty much a dysfunctional family to me. I’m like the quiet cousin that never talks but is at every event. I know this place has gotten rough the last 5ish years. From many more trolls coming to the site and the diminishing involvement of the staff and the lack of moderation to even the constant bitching about the functionality of the site it has been rough. But I never thought it would get to this point. The hatred aimed at Ace is just mind blowing. To attack “one of our own” like this is completely uncalled for and extremely petty. Spitting out this venom because of an unfollow or a thank you that wasn’t up to your standards or even just someone’s political views is just....I don’t know what else to say. I’ve gone through a really rough time these past 4 years because of a daughter born with many health problems and having to have many surgeries but coming here has helped me feel a sense of normalcy. Hope it can get back to what it was some day.
I'm a big fan of spicy. In any way, shape or form. Have done several challenges involving spicy foods. Even a habenero eating contest. There was a small restaurant in Richmond Virginia called Caliente which featured the Stupid Wings challenge. 8 wings covered in a thick disgusting sauce that could only be described as "chemically." Well I choked them down in maybe 10 minutes with tears in my eyes but I didn't really feel like they were any hotter than many of the other challenge wings I had tried. Then things took a turn later that night. As I lay in bed my stomach started to cramp a little so I tried to relive the pain by drawing my knees up closer to my chest. It steadily got worse. Next thing I know my stomach feels like it is being crushed in a vice. I crawl over my girlfriend and make a dash towards the bathroom. I make it just in time and start violently throwing up in the toilet. The mixture of bile, chicken, hot sauce and toilet water splashes back up into my face and eyes causing me to not be able to see. The regurgitated hot sauce also causes me to lose my breath as really hot things tend to do so I can't cry out for help. So here I am crouched over a toilet thinking this is the end for me all because of some damn chicken wings. After what felt like an eternity it was finally all over and I just sat there exhausted like I had run for miles. Didn't learn my lesson though. Still love the spicy stuff!
I really don't care about him dropping. What bothers me is the fact Hunter Johnson and Tate Martell weren't hurt at all by their poor showings at The Opening. Seems biased in my opinion.
Then what's your point? We should have let it get worse before we did something? That's asinine. My grandfather who was British was in the war for ten years. Luckily he survived or else I would have never existed. But I guess we should have waited.....
Maybe I am remembering this wrong but in high school I'm pretty sure being on the field for four hours was pretty standard practice. For 2 a days it was 7am-11am with an hour for lunch and then 12pm-4pm. During the season it was 3pm-7pm most days.
I'm a huge fan of stouts. Founder's Breakfast Stout, Rogue Imperial Stout, Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout and Terrapin Moo Hoo Chocolate Milk Stout are a few I enjoy. Any suggestions?
I always drink beer out of my 32oz. Michigan mug and I didn't for the Akron game so I think all our miscues led to all the miscues on the field! Semi serious....
Not a "dunbass" just not willing to get into specifics. I never said "it's because he is from a bad area." I KNOW what was going on back when he was there.
I agree with the Josh Cribbs comparison but i see him more like Percy Harvin with his injury history. Explosive when he's in but not able to hold up an entire season.
