Arod and Mauer yes. Howard-no

Arod and Mauer yes. Howard-no freaking way.

But what if your cousin is

But what if your cousin is really, REALLY hot?

I'm guessing SC is ahead of a I'm guessing SC is ahead of a number of undefeated teams because pollsters don't think TCU, BSU, Cinci, or Iowa would beat them heads up.
That is ridiculous to the That is ridiculous to the point of absurdity. No team in America would recruit someone to keep them away from a rival. You recruit a kid because you think they can help you win. Pryor was the number one overall recruit. That is reason enough for OSU to recruit him.
Wait til after the season and Wait til after the season and maybe Brandon Spikes, Tim Tebow, or Colt McCoy can answer your question for you.
Color me skeptical but I'm Color me skeptical but I'm just not ready to give up on Pryor yet. Some kids just have a slower learning curve. That said if in the first game next year Pryor is still making awful reads, throwing into double coverage and telling people everyone murders then I will agree we dodged a bullet with Pryor.
No. Unless Iowa is in the No. Unless Iowa is in the National title game it is almost statistically impossible. It presumes we win out. It presumes Iowa somehow leaps SC, VaTech, Boise State, one of Alabama or Florida in the polls to make the title game. If we have our sights set on a BCS bowl it's gonna have to be at-large. I'm not holding my breath. We aren't even ranked.
Don't really do halloween Don't really do halloween myself. Just like taking my daughter out. If this is any one of you though you are my new hero http://annarbor.craigslist.org/tlg/1379610836.html
That's easy. Which one has That's easy. Which one has gone to three national title games in the past decade and won one? It's not even a competition in respect.
Maybe the reason there Maybe the reason there appears to be more excitement in college football is the fact that in a college season there are more than 700 games plus what 34 bowls in div 1a (FBS) alone. In the NFL there are only 256 games plus the postseason. That's almost 3 times as many games and thus three times as much chance for an exciting ending or seeing something new. I'm more of a college fan myself, but I definitely wouldn't sell the NFL short. That game is exciting. Those are men at the absolute peak of their physical lives performing the best they ever will.
I'm not talking about I'm not talking about experience, I'm talking about talent.
The problem is not only with The problem is not only with player development especially at some of the linebacker positions, but in depth. It would be interesting to see what the second string USC defense looks like compared to ours. I would hazard a guess that our 2nd string has a severe dropoff in recruiting profile in comparison to USC's
What gets lost in the shuffle What gets lost in the shuffle of how awesome Adrian Peterson is, is the fact that Hutch is opening those holes for him.
I, for one, would love to see I, for one, would love to see Boise State in the championship game. The thrashing that would come were they to meet Florida, Texas, SC, etc. would put to rest the idea that a non-BCS team belongs in the title game. That said, if it ever happens and they pull the upset I'll look like the most pompous fool in the world. I'm willing to risk it though.
I'm sorry you lost me at:
Why
I'm sorry you lost me at:
Why would we have wanted to go to the Rose Bowl last year? We couldn't even win the Capital One Bowl. USC would've embarrassed us, and we knew it.
The games that would have determined whether MSU went to the Rose Bowl occurred on November 22, 2008. At that time all signs pointed to the winner of the Big 10 playing Oregon State University in the Rose Bowl. It wasn't until November 29, 2009 when Oregon killed Oregon State in the Civil War that USC slid into the Rose Bowl slot. Your argument that you couldn't even win the Capital One Bowl notwithstanding, what team has ever wanted to play in a lesser bowl? Especially when the possibility of playing in a BCS game and the Grandaddy of them all is still on the table. Prestige, national clout, and recruiting visibility are all part of going to Pasadena. Going to the Rose Bowl and getting blown out by SC is still preferable to a lower tier bowl no matter what. I don't think for one second that it being a long shot is why any Spartan fans were rooting against UM. But then again I'm not a Spartan so maybe I shouldn't speak for you.
It was already a gigantic It was already a gigantic blowout. I feel horrible for anybody that gets injured like that but I don't think Meyer should have even had him in. This speaks to a pretty bad trend in college football IME. Meyer runs up the score and keeps his starters in longer than he should to accrue "style points." This is the type of risk that is run when that is required to make a national title game.
I think he meant he would be I think he meant we would be up in arms had we been in Indiana's position not if the call had gone the other way. What pass interference is everyone talking about? Is that the uncatchable ball out of bounds? Cuz yeah, that was a little bit of BS
I would rather hear gunshots I would rather hear gunshots coming from my children's bedroom than listen to Pam Ward announce a football game.
Unfortunately so did Belcher Unfortunately so did Belcher and tie goes to the offense.
Hopefully the coaches get him Hopefully the coaches get him straightened out and fast. It's gonna be a tough 4-6 weeks while Molk is out.
He is a good poster who He is a good poster who contributes another viewpoint and he has been doing so since well before we played Notre Dame this year. Also that call should have been overturned. Maize and Blue glasses and all I think that IU got absolutely robbed.
Goose and cran. One for the Goose and cran. One for the wife and a double for me.
