I know Houstan will improve his shooting with time but his athleticism will not. He can’t handle the ball and will need to gain a lot of muscle to defend at the NBA level.
Diabate can guard 1-5, provides rim protection, and has a developing jump shot. He is Serge Ibaka 2.0
As bad as Michigan has played this year I would pick them to beat CSU. If you look at CSU schedule they have not beat anyone. Our record sucks but our SOS and quality of wins are great. So I think we deserve to be rewarded for challenging ourselves.
Houstan was a much higher rated prospect in high school then both Dickinson or Ivey and if we are being honest this plays a huge role in draft stock. He will be a one and done and it is the right decision because he will get drafted and make more next year the 99% of the people on this board even if from a playing ability standpoint he is not ready.

Right now Ben Mason is on the Bears Practice Squad and is going to make 165,000 this year. If he had stayed in college based on your numbers he would be making about the same money. I am not saying you are wrong people have Irrational passion for their college football teams (see Mel Tuckers one sided contract) but I feel like we are overvaluing players and also not deducting the cost of the free education students are getting from what their NIL value would be.

He has 2 sacks in 3 years and has not provided much of a pass rush impact even outside of sack numbers. In a league where team pass 66 percent of the time you need to either provide a pass rush or be a huge (330 plus) run stopper and he is neither. He is a nice player that I can see making a practice squad and I can’t fault a guy for getting a 6 figure salary but long term I think he would stand to benefit from playing another year.

You can make a strong argument that a player who only specializes in stopping the run no matter how well he does it should not win this award. However, stats are not a great way to evaluate a NT given their job is to eat up blocker so other can make plays. There is a reason no one including Bama has run the ball on Georgia and he is a big reason why.

Marcus Freeman getting this job and James Franklin getting an extension with over 1 million dollar a year raise should show you just how important recruiting is to fan bases and Athletic directors.
Have watched a ton of big ten football this year I feel like Dotson, Smith-Njigda, and Wilson were all better then Olave. I feel like him getting first time was based on reputation.

Without a doubt this could happen but given MSU is last in the country in pass defense, OSU is 6 in passing offense, and the game is being played in the Shoe I highly doubt MSU wins the game. Bonus pick PSU will upset MSU in the final game.

I am from Illinois, this kid plays in the Catholic league which is arguably the best in the state. He beat JJ Mccarthy old team by 2 TD. One of his games was against Loyola Academy which is the number one team in the state (Michael Jordan son attended this school) and he played Mount Carmel who won state in 2019 (Covid prevent IL from having playoffs in 2020). So by Illinois Standard he is playing good competition.
What's the point of transferring in the middle of a season. You can't play anywhere else, you lose out of the football reps an coach which would make you better at your next school, and it sends a message that you are quitting on your teammates. Kids should be able to go to school where they want without sitting out but I hate seeing a kid give up mid year.
This is such a poor analysis, 50 out of the 65 schools have hired 1 or fewer black coaches or ADs. This chart is essentially rewarding schools that have low turnover. Both Iowa and Alabama have never hired a black coach or AD but Alabama is 65 and Iowa is 41 due to Bama having the positions open 15 times and Iowa only having it open 3. This is lazy reporting.

So again Shaun Nua shows that he cannot recruit. Honestly why was his contract renewed he provides nothing in recruiting and has not developed any lineman who were not already coached by Greg Mattison.

Prior to that change we had an agreement with the PAC12 in which we were doing home and homes but now with 5 conference road games every other year you must have all 3 of your non-conference games be at home every other year to make the money work and only cup cakes will play a road game without getting a return trip.
These mock drafts frustrate me because I feel they over hype our players which leads to players leaving early (see Jalen Mayfield). Chris Hinton has 2.5 career TFLs, name one thing other then being a highly rate recruit and playing for Michigan that would make you think Chris Hinton would be a first round pick.
