6 weeks 3 days ago	One of my favorite things on	One of my favorite things on this site is remembering the different ages of the members.  Its especially interesting to me to see how Michigan sports have shaped our lives differently.  I know we have a running discussion about the Fab Five, but those older guys like me have such a different experience having grown up and been in school during that era versus everyone else that came later.  For many of you, it feels like MMB has finally arrived.  For those older guys like me, it feels like MMB is finally back!

11 weeks 2 days ago	Like PGB said, I've been	Like JGB said, I've been thinking about quitting for a while now and that last thread was the perfect reason to make it happen.  Its pretty damn stressful and time-consuming to be a moderator.  I've been doing it for over 2 years and I think (and you all probably agree) that it was time for some fresh eyes.  Congrats to LSA!  Good luck to him! 11 weeks 6 days ago	You beat me to the	You beat me to the congratulatory congratulations comment.  Though I must temper the congratulations with a warning:  At some point, the novelty of having a yard wears off.  I think, for me, it was a Sunday.  It had become clear to me (from viewing and threats from the wife) that putting off mowing the lawn could not continue.  Unfortunately, it was 98 degrees on that Sunday and somewhere around 190% humidity.  5 Gatorades and hours of heat exhaustion later, I realized that having a yard was a horrible thing.  Here's to you not reaching that moment in several years!

11 weeks 6 days ago	Babies that are 1 year old	Babies that are 1 year old now and still not sleeping through the night without eating.  When I'm not gritting my teeth and using all my strength not to punch a hole in a wall in a sleep-deprived rage, I hum Christmas music and rock her back to sleep.  O Come All Ye Faithful, Silent Night, and the like.  60% of the time, it works every time.
