While Miller did pick apart my secondary, he also threw two picks. The final pick was as their team was driving up to the 10 yard line with 20 seconds left.

Nothing new to see here.  Names of players - This is the first year where I can remember the players having random names at the launch of the game. In prior iterations of NCAA football, players would just have a number. However, I am sure the names are temporary and will allow for the community to post accurate rosters a few days following the launch. Watch both here and at operationsports.com for rosters to look out for in the EA locker.  Offense seems too easy in this game compared to the last edition. I was struggling on pass defense against Ohio. Braxton Miller was able to pick apart my secondary no matter the alignment or if I threw man-to-man or zone coverage at them. This is completely not in real life with his crappy arm.

2 days 9 hours ago	A good portion of the	A good portion of the students I teach come from not ideal homes (I teach B level physics, biology, and math). I spend a good portion of the early part of the year establishing class norms of a good citizen (ie one person talks at a time, use respectful language, cell phones are away during class, come to class prepared and on time). If students cannot handle these basic norms, then they can serve detention with me or if it gets to a point then they must schedule a meeting between me and their assistant principal before they will be allowed back in class.  However, I would hope any high school grad would understand a basic code of ethics.

If you want thought provoking plot development that challenges your beliefs and moral code go check out the latest coming out of Cannes.  I am sure the Brown Bunny is more of your cup of tea.

5 days 17 hours ago	I was in Chicago for a	I was in Chicago for a Cubs/Cardinals game. Well the game was rained out, so we went over to Harry Carey's for dinner and drinks. About two minutes after we ordered our food, the manager comes by our table and asks us if we could move downstairs. We were seated in the VIP section on the 2nd floor as it was the only open area of the resturant after the rainout. The next thing we know the entire Cardinals pitching staff comes up. We ended up getting free drinks after they kicked us out.  So yeah Cool Story

1 week 2 days ago	Best - The Rose Bowl. Yet	Best - The Rose Bowl. Yet another mini version of Michigan Stadium. The hills of Pasadena in the background make a great view.  Yost Ice Arena - I have gone to a few michigan away hockey games and no other ice arena compares to Yost (pre-renovations). The fans were on top on the ice, packed in, and crazy. The renovations have changed things a bit and the Children of Yost are still getting used to the new setup. I think by the end of the season the fans started to regain their mojo.  Williams-Bryce Stadium (Columbia, South Carolina) - There is something special about southern football. The atmosphere is great with southern BBQ, the CockaBoose, the gamecocks and Cocky coming out to the band playing 2001.  Lousiana Superdome - The atmosphere around the Super Dome makes for a great atmosphere. I had the time of my life "tailgating" on Bourbon Street before the Sugar Bowl. I was in the executive 2nd deck for the game around the 30 yard line and had a great view. The Super Dome can get loud as hell when the fans go crazy.  Camp Randall - Went for the Wisconsin/Michigan outdoor hockey game. Had a great time pre-gaming in Madison. Even a half-full stadium got rocking for the "4th period" with jump around. I actually got hasseled more for being a Wings fan than Michigan (got a lot of F the Red Wings chants even though I was wearing a Michigan hockey sweater).  Worst  Raymond James Stadium - By far the worst stadium I have been visited. The sightlines are terrible. The jumbotron malfunctions and only shows the top of the camera view. There is no atmosphere around the stadium.  Joe Louis Arena - I hate to say it as a die hard Wings fan, but they deserve much better. The Joe is a complete dump. It looks way too industrial inside and outside. However, the Joe gets bonus points for serving very large Molson Triple XXX. I cannot wait until the Joe is built near Tiger Stadium. One of my favorite hockey memories was celebrating with other Wings fans at Joe Vision and in Joe parking garage after the Wings won the cup against the Pens.  Memorial Stadium (Champaign, Ill) - Good lord that stadium is depressing. Went my senior at Purdue. Illinois was doing decent that season. However, only about 1000 students showed. Man their students sucked. F Purdue was their most creative cheer and student t shirt.

The closest Purdue has been to having a great year was 2004 when Kyle Orton led them to a #3 ranking only to see them blow it against Wisconsin and crap the bed the rest of the season. Since then Purdue has had one issue after another with their QB's (arrests/Blown ACL's/Academic DQ's).
