If it were me, just an average joe, my ass would be in jail.
Oh, and that cop wouldn't have thought twice about searching my vehicle. (He didn't search the vehicle)
What I find funny is that the cop, in this circumstance, had to call someone and ask what he shuold do -- saying something like "I don't know what to do". How about you use your best moral judgement...you're a cop, afterall.
This has been all over the news out here (in Portland). From what I hear, the video posted above, the cop actually called his supe and asked what he should do. The big question now is whether these guys got some sort of preferential treatment. Ask yourself this question...
If I got pulled over for doing 118 (and more like 130+), I didn't have a licence, the car smelled like weed and it was rented by someone other than myself, would I expect to spend some time in jail?
Answer: Hell Yes!
I truly believe that there is something fishy going on here, but in the land of the "Ducks" this type of stuff just gets swept under the rug because there's someone who can foot the bill to keep this kind of stuff quiet...make your own judgements on who that might be. Maybe there's a little bit of JT hypocracy here too!?!
To add to his tangibles, he's also an excellent blocker and he has been consistently described as a guy that has a high football IQ...right place at the right time type of stuff.
As a resident of the City of Portland and an a soon to be graduating Alum of Portland State University (PSU ESM, UM BA 2005), I would be remiss to not partake in such an event as" Al Borges Night on MGoBlog".
In honor of "Gorgeous Al" Borgess, I offer my Photoshopping services.
For maximim impact, I suppose I should include the rest of the gang...affectionately coined "The M-Team":
I'm pretty sure iPads (iPhones and the like) don't support Adobe Flash content. Since the videos provided in this post are encoded for playback using the Flash Player, you probably won't be able to view the videos on your iPad. (Do a search for "Apple and Flash" and you will find quite a few news articles and press releases regarding the topic). FYI.

If you look closely, Junior Hemingway's (/Desmond Howard's) jersey has the "Michigan Football Legend" patch on the right breast.

If I recall correctly, WTKA changes their podcast feed URL on occasion. Anyway, the WTKA website has a podcast player, here:
http://www.wtka.com/pages/9395307.php
If you use iTunes, you should be able to subscribe to the following feed:

I've found that if the current feed isn't updating, deleting the feed from iTunes and re-subscribing usually does the trick.
Hope this helps.

"Gorgeous Al" Borges = "Face" (he's got the looks and he's a smooth talker)
Brady Hoke = Murdoch (because fanaticism is its own form of crazy)
Fred Jackson = "B.A". Baracus (I pitty the fool who tries to clog our running lanes)
Greg Mattison = "Hannibal" (let's just face it, he loves it when a plan comes together)
RE: Adam Carolla -- large face/head:small neck/body = slightly disproportionate outcome

Oh, and just as a side note: For anyone who scorns the existence of the "Split M", just take a look at Mr. J's chains...

Looks like they're running some additional practice footage on the scoreboards...
There was a pretty cool time-lapse sequence showing the construction of the scoreboard itself.
Additionally, it seems like they are running extended cuts of practice footage...stuff that was probably cut out of the "Countdown to Kickoff" videos.
Anyhow, here's a link if anyone is interested:

Kevin Durant is an impressive player and will definitely be a difference maker, taking OKC past San Antonio.
.... but I take Blazers over the Mavs in 6. The Blazers have a gritty team that may just surprise some people.
The rest of the West,
San Antonio in 5
LA in 4
OKC in 6
