Years ago I always listened to Carl on I believe 105.1 in the morning. Have always been a classic music fan as well a UM fan. Carl has been the voice of the band and the golden voice of the Michigan Band for many years. He is the best. GO BLUE!!!!
Missing Nebraska, Maryland, and Rutgers but have been to ND many times, Washington, Oregon, UCLA, which is the Rose Bowl ofcourse and 7 Rose Bowls and many other Bowl Games. Autzen Stadium was the loudest and a wonderful environment as was Washington. Also went to Jerry's World for the Alabama game. I still believe Michigan Stadium is the best but view at the Rose Bowl is the best.
Mayor Duggan is being given credit, well deserved by the way, for his management of the city during the Covid 19 crisis and it is the best of any large city which was a hotbed. The State of Michigan would be well on the way to an economic recovery if he was our Governor instead of the Queen.
His QB maybe have been a small part of his problems, but his attitude was 99% of his issues. Never wanted to be coached and if you believe some reports, not the best of teammates. With our stable of receivers, we won't miss him a bit. By the way, he practiced drops in the games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Neg away.
Don't think a season with no fans won't hurt Michigan as ticket sales and PSD fees for football account for nearly $70,000,000 of revenue each year. The budget for the athletic department is nearly $185,000,000. This will hurt all P5 schools. It is a very serious problem for all schools.
Debating the same question. Been season ticket holder since 1978 and have been to 20 or so bowl games and many road games. I also think the tailgates are a concern as well. We have a 40' Motor Home and everyone is invited inside and it does get crowded during the later games. Tough call to make. A lot can happen between now and the season.
I remember Larry very well and thought he was one of the best in the Detroit market. At that we had a number of good Sports Broadcasters in the Market. He was always low key and didn't want the attention that the others desired. A truly good guy.

We were at that game!!!! It was a great game and we came back from 14 points down twice. Could not believe that they missed the extra point. We did't get out of the Stadium until after 1 in the morning. The only bowl game that I attended that was better was the January 1 1998 Rose Bowl. All great memories. Couldn't agree more. If you look at the UM Season Ticket holders, I would bet at least 30% fall in the High Risk category. An additional 25 to 30% will not want to take the risk associated with Covid19. Too many issues to be confronted without a Vaccine/Cure. Doubtful for the season.

You will never get the chance to see what Minnesota will do against OSU as they will get trucked by Wisconsin even at home. Michigan beats OSU and goes to the Rose Bowl. Minnesota lost it's only tough road game and Michigans 2 losses were on the road.

I was in St Joe's for a Diverticulitis Opeartion on the Wednesday before the Colorado Game in 1994 and was at the Michigan State with my staples still in but I missed the Iowa Game but would never miss a game with the Idiots from EL. I was in pain but a few Vodkas cured that problem but win cured all. Go Blue. So sorry to miss the Colorado Game. Watched with pain in the hospital.
