Saw so many great games at Royals Stadium while he was there. Those were the days of glory with 4 major league teams in town. RIP Whitey.
Was aiming for Wapakoneta but only made it to Dublin. Still was the most amazing thing to experience totality. Had video on phone running for 20 minutes up to totality and it was nice a lens artifact showed the sliver closing. Must say thank you to all the schools who closed as there was a nice parking lot and lots of open green space for a handful of people to experience it. Will save my glasses with my Skylab tracker kit.

Buckeye Lake east of Columbus has a floating island - the youngest part of the bog floated to the surface when they dammed the river/swamp. Link - access is restricted so it’s not easy to become a floating bogeyman.
But oh the poor coaches! At least the talking heads on the selection show said it makes it sooo much harder on coaches in the tournament to also watch the portal for candidates. Geez, does no one delegate?
