If you're telling me one Beilein Jedi punch caused all this commotion, you're telling me to believe in one magic Jedi punch. The implication is clear: there was a second puncher!

Having been there during the days of Zimmerman, Hunt, and Paz, this group is something else! Taking down Stanford in 4 in NoCal is a real milestone achievement for this team and for the Rosens, who have taken this program all the way up to un-dreamed-of heights! Good luck next week against Texas (and hopefully, Oregon/Penn State), and Go Blue!

48 weeks 5 days ago	One of my lasting memories from U-M	was a chance to perform with a small group of the Men's Glee Club my freshman year (2007) for the 60th anniversary reunion of the National Championship Mad Magicians.  I distinctly remember Bob sitting no more than a quick toss in front of me.  Singing all the old Michigan Songs obviously rekindled fond memories for them, and there were very few dry eyes in the audience.  I thought it was amazing that these men (who didn't look that much bigger than us, a stark reminder of how different the game was then), who had reached the apex of what Michigan football can be, were so connected also with the campus culture that a simple rendition of "I'll Ne'er Forget My College Days" would resonate with them so.   It was an honor to sing that night for you, Bob.  May you always execute your heavenly fakes. "At Michigan, all hearts are true; all loyal to the Maize and Blue.  There e'er will be a golden haze around those dear old college days."

Wangler was left in a heap on the field. His knee was severely injured; the cruciate ligaments were ripped. He would not touch a football for nearly 10 months...When the 1980 season arrived, we had to go with Rich Hewlett at quarterback..."  (BO, Schembechler and Albom, p. 111-112) He then goes on to relate how Wangler came in after the option (run by Hewlett) was going nowhere against Notre Dame in the infamous Harry Oliver game.  After this, he rattled off 8 straight wins and Bo's first Rose Bowl victory despite the fact that  "He did not run.  He could barely move in that pocket." (p. 113)

1 year 5 weeks ago	Obviously	Dantonio the Master Trickster is working him into a fake-field-goal-tip-it-to-the-long-snapper-for-a-first-down play, trying to rip that page out of Hoke's Sugar Bowl playbook. The play will be called "The Sandlot," and it will be run to beat Nebraska. In all seriousness, best of luck and congratulations, even if it is with Sparty!
