I think the problem lies in the fact that he is implying that the rest of the Big Ten isn't trying to recruit well? It's not like Minnesota wants the No. 54 class in the country (just guessing). It's because they are Minnesota and ... yeah. They are Minnesota. Not a hotbed of talent, not an attractive school for top-end recruits. If the also-ran teams of the Big Ten classes could bring in the best recruits, I'm sure they would. |
