Agreed. I bought my tickets when they dipped during the day yesterday. In general it's better to wait, but College Gameday is looming this gameweek. If we have two top 10 teams playing eachother and college gameday in ann arbor the day of the game tix will hold their value.
What are we expecting the gametime for the Wisconsin at Michigan game on 10/1 to be. This one might be the only time this season i'm able to make a game... Coming from Chicago and trying to plan the logistics.
Looks to be by far the best Big Ten game for week 5, with MSU at Indiana or Illinois at Nebraska a distant 2nd. Safe to say we'll have a 3:30pm gametime?
Agreed. Minnesota has really been tanking since they lost those starters. The selection committe will certanly take that into account. A loss to MSU and us and Minn is most likely not even in the bubble conversation.
Me too! I think Carvin Johnson is going to have a big year. He just seems like a kid who knows how to play the game to me. Too bad he was banged up last year.
While I agree that he will somewhat regress this year (he probably won't bat .295 again), if he can cut down on the strikeouts and add a little bit more pop I think he can have a great year again. Somewhere around .275 10 HR 50RBI's 30SB and 100runs would be awesome. He's got a great future and i'm excited to watch him lead off for years to come.
I don't see why I am naive because i think (mostly hope) that Harbaugh will be our next head coach. He has said that it is his dream job on more than one occasion; i mean the kid grew up on the Michigan practice field. I know it will be a tough transition back into a pro-style offense but I think he will be able to whip the defense into shape a lot quicker than people think. Not to say that they will be dominant by any means but our defenses under Rich Rod have been laughable at best. There were a lot of playmakers on the 2008 team, but they still played terribly as a unit. That is a coaching problem.
I don't think it's that farfetched.. We all know he can shoot, and last year i thought that he was also are best on the ball defender. No one is talking about the NBA, but I see no reason why he cannot be successful in Europe if he continues his solid work ethic.
I agree that Ohio has more talent than Michigan for football, but it's hard to snatch the best athletes from Ohio State.. We need to keep the focus at home and continue to get the best players from Detroit, Fint, and Saginaw. Dantonio has been recruiting the state pretty well so we can't lose focus.
I think might have been his worst draft... And then he went out and re-signed him to a long term contract when all the dude did was sit on the bench.

Shaw's vision is sub-par.. I don't think that he will really make much of an impact this year or anytime in the future at the running back position. When healthy, I think Vincent Smith is by far our best back.
I agree, but consistently tackling like that is bad form. Your not going to generate enough power to take the ball carrier down every single time if you don't wrap up. Take a look at the way Kovacs tackles, perfect every time.
Izzo, like Beilein is known for his in extensive film analysis.. I wouldn't be surprised if we had several team managers who help out with film breakdown. It's a great experience for the kids, maybe they will get a job in the stats department with ESPN or a pro franchise one day.
