Uh no. This team needs a kick-ass QB with Moxie. RBs were doing great against Bama (along with the OLine). The game I SAW, had the QB missing 7+ downfield throws. We needed those.
I would say we need to get McAffrey or Milton to be the QB. Be THE MAN. And then build them from within. MICH has such a long line of QBs: Henne, Brady, Henson, Griese, Harbaugh!, Leach, Grbac, Wangler, Dreisbach, D Robinson, D Gardner. forgetaboutit.
I watched Villari's highlight reel and he's great! Can pass, has a nice touch, also has a gun arm as well. Can run; scores TDs, and has the requisite hurdle in there. "Volare" Villari!
Main 2 things that burned us were losing the Inside Contain on runs, and the Crossing passing routes again. I think the Def Ends got to set the edge better on the run and not go IN. While on the passes the CBs have to stay on their side and not attempt to cross!

I would fire Harbaugh today. I write this as I feel the problems with the team are coaching related:
#1 CB play. All of the flags on PI and holding come because this is HOW they are COACHED.
#2 DLine jumping offsides a million times. Again you gotta coach it differently.
#3 The offense: all the up the middle runs?, not one JET SWEEP, not one QB run; this is all coached and playcalledm I would say poorly.
I could go on. But I would now NIP IT IN THE BUD NOW, and move on. Sorry Jim; we love you, but you ain't cutting it.
