Danny Glover once gave me a high five at a party because I told him I thought he was great in Predator 2. Every time he saw me for the rest of the night he pointed at me and said, "My man!"

Because Home Invasion 2 is punishable by up to 15 years in prison, and involves committing a larceny while nobody is in the dwelling. It's the most serious crime he could be charged with unless someone was in the dorm room (then it would be Home Invasion first degree).

Depending on the sport

Depending on the sport, this isn't anything too new... take a look at this article about a horse race that never happened (complete with imaginary horses) at a racetrack that never existed in a TOWN that doesn't exist: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1087348/1/in…; That happened way back in 1898.  Unreal.

Not a greasy spoon

but St. John's Meeting Place on Market Street is great.  It's relatively casual, and the food is outstanding, but it's pricey.  If you go, ask for Joe to be your server.  St. John's Restaurant is next door, too, which is very pricey, and more of a fine dining kind of place.

I can't start a thread, and this isn't related all to student tickets, but I'm trying to upload a new avatar photo, and I'm getting the following two warnings:

  • The selected file /tmp//n2224356_38144088_6396.jpg could not be uploaded, because the destination sites/mgoblog.com/files/pictures/picture-10511.jpg is not properly configured.
  • Failed to upload the picture image; the pictures directory doesn't exist or is not writable.

Is there something I am doing wrong?  It's not an image size issue or anything, and it seems like the problem is with mgoblog, not my computer.  Any ideas?  The avatar picture is awesome, so if I ever get it uploaded, your help will be handsomely rewarded.

Peter Bauland

Taught my favorite class too.  20th Century Literature.  He's a great lecturer and runs great discussions, and also picks really interesting course material.

I had another class that was the history of Weimar Germany between the World Wars.  Really interesting stuff too but I can't remember who the teacher was or what the class was called.

At least

he's driving American (except for the Nissan).

Exactly my thought too.  Let

Exactly my thought too.  Let him be a kid for a few years, and revisit this in 8th grade or so.

Except that he should start band and a foreign language in 6th grade.

BTW

Happy birthday.

November 27 -- I share a birthday with Jimi Hendrix and Bill Nye the Science Guy.  Plus, every few years, I get a delicious turkey dinner.  It's also far enough from Christmas that I rarely get the dreaded double-occasion present.

Or

Saint Leo University on Key West, if we're not counting community colleges.

Seriously, unless you really

Seriously, unless you really want to be a lawyer, don't go to law school.  I graduated from a tier-one school, had decent grades and a ton of experience, and I am currently a "volunteer attorney" (and doing that at least 40 hours a week) and living with my parents for the foreseeable future.  It's tough to get a legal job in Michigan right now.

And like others have said, work like crazy first year, because digging out of the GPA hole is NOT easy -- I know from experience.

Regarding the original post, sucks for that guy, but Above The Law isn't always the most accurate place to read about things.

OP, you left out one of the best parts!

Assuming we forget the last three games.

"...the Lakers-Clips crowds are especially charged because Lakers fans swarm those games, lending an undeniable big brother/little brother edge to the proceedings."
