I think the way MSU runs the ball will play into our hands, they're more a run first pass second team and so far our D is hella better at defending the run than pass IMO. Our backs need to get healthy this week so we can rotate backs in and keep them fresh. If we can jump out to a early lead I say we just keep the foot on the pedal and keep rolling, never know with our D what will happen.
Give our D is really young, but shouldn't we see improvements thru 5 games? even just a little? I'm just not seeing it out there. I see the talent out there on the field but I just feel the talent is not being used to the fullest.
Time to dump the 3-3-5, it isn't working, and this "bend don't break defense" HAS to go, cuz seems like it's doing more "break" then "bend"... thoughts?
How do you give up 20 pts in the 4th to FCS school and be excited about that? Our D needs revamped or overhauled, this 3-3-5 shit isn't working. Please go to a 4-3 or 3-4, the less Freshman CB/S on the field the better off this D will be..

Everytime I see a breakdown in coverage or a big play, MIke Williams is there with his hands on his head. With the hit to our Secondary, I wish for one of two things, either Mike got 200% better or he doesn't see the field in big games IMO.
Just read this on a Uconn blog. "Randy Edsall is a much better coach than Rich Rod and Zach Frazer is better than any QB in Michigan's stable. Our OL will dominate Michigan's defensive line (which is garbage except for Roh) and their linebackers are lost more than not."
They must not know of Mike Hulk Martin, Nor DRob..hmm guess they'll find out Sept 4th!
