Alabama's O-line was tremendous, their backs weren't getting hit till they were atleast 5+ yards up field, and they fell forward everytime. I know Mattison's plan was to stop the run and allow McCarron to win this game on his own, but that didn't happen. And of course Herbstreit and Musberger rode his dick the whole time and talked about how great he was, makes me sick.
I was really liking the first few series, where we were getting rid of the ball quick. The wr's just made a few drops, but we immedieately went away from that and just let Denard do his usual "HEY SOMEONE CATCH THIS" throw. Granted there seem to be a litle illegal contact on some of his throws, but honestly Denard looked like Denard.
I'm all for making Denard a better passer, but damn when shit is not workin, it's not workin! Quit throwing deep everytime. First couple series we were throwing quick routes, the wr's were just dropping catches. Quick routes is what we need. Oh and let Denard do his thing. Maybe drunk, but come on! Let's make this another UTL!!!
Good job Brady Hoke. I'm sure that was one hard thing to do, to tell a 21 year old kid that he is going to have to sit out on one of his biggest collegiate game. Great integrity. Now Rawls and Smith are gonna have to suit up and know they are going to be key to winning this game! Go Blue! Beat Bama!
Alabama fans to me are the worst. Maybe its because I grew up there, but man they have some that are just horrid. Especially if you listen to Finebaum. But you know there are fans like that with every team and every sport.
I had an issue with acessing ESPN Player over here in Germany. I'm on a military installation as well. I just e-mailed the support team and let them know my situaion and IP address and they allowed acess for me.
She has the baby early, I'm sure the little one is smart enough to wait until AFTER the game, like mine who waited until the day after I returned from Afghanistan.
