- The played/cheered between every Michigan play on offense. It was loud even in row 37 upstairs.
- they often played past the offense being set.
- On the last drive, they played "Happy trails" and merely turned down the volume during the Michigan plays, for the double insult.

there is this episode of Gilligan's Island where "A Japanese solder arrives on the island, thinks it's still WWII, and holds the castaways prisoner on their own island."
|10 weeks 5 days ago||the KSU band||
was a nuisance. They went beyond the obnoxiousness of ohio or southern cal bands.
Apart from those bits of dickishness, they had more songs and more spirit and energy than our band. We grew tired of hearing the Victors for the umpteenth time without corresponding scores to celebrate.
Overall, it was like the whole KSU universe was excited to be there.

that they only scored 10 after the half, and 7 was after the long INT return (IIRC). Some might call that an adjustment. But don't let that interrupt your doomsaying.
|10 weeks 6 days ago||but it's so fun||
to do the chicken little/handwringing/panties bunched whine on the internet than to have any perspective about a game, a season, a program.
We're entitled to 14-0 seasons every year. DAMMIT! Anything less is abject failure! Heads must roll!

It's a tough week to impose that standard without pointing fingers at most of the mgoboard..
FWIW, I agree about "the knowledge," esxpecially when mr. "13-0" this season predicts a coaching change before the new guy even signs his contract

One makes a contract based on what you expect the outcome to be. Coach contracts are tuypically long term to give coaches and recruits a sense of stability. One inserts buy out clauses/liquiodated damages clauses to protect one or both sides should the situation turn out different than expected at the begnning. Life happens. This is not dishonest. Rich wasn't screwed - I gan give you 2.5 million examples why he got an honest resolution of a contract issue.
Expecting your AD to see into the future in order to arrange an appropriate contract term to satisfy rhe internet ain't gonna happen. Let it go.
