Or else, why would they show Mike killing a bunch of cartel members in the beginning?

Unfortunately, there isn't a baseball package on www.bigtennetwork.com that I'm aware of. They do have basketball and football packages by conference, team, or sport available on www.bigtenticket.com though. I guess that means they don't think there will be enough demand for streamed baseball games that they can justify with a package deal. Or they could just be testing the water and may offer a package deal later on.
That is probably the worst analysis you'll read in your life and I basically have no idea, sorry.

IIRC the weirdest bathroom was the one in the computer lab in the basement of the Union (not the Tapp room). It wasn't even on the same level of the lab's floor, it was about 1.5 feet above. Maybe it was left over from when the swimming pool was there. I think it was also really cramped inside.
Also, the bathroom in front of the elevators on the 1st floor of the Grad Library was horrible. It was so cramped inside that you couldn't even wash without getting some pee on yourself. Fun times!
|6 years 12 weeks ago||Econ 320: Labor Economics.||
Econ 320: Labor Economics. This guy is even worse than my previous nomination of Deardorff. Can't remember his name but he was Asian and I think he learned English like the day before class started.
He taught the class in Fall of '06. He taught us nothing about labor economics, instead he just kept trying to prove his own theories in class. He spent about 4 weeks of class time trying to explain why log functions smooth out a curve, which we already knew because we were all econ students. One month into the semester he dropped all the requirements in the syllabus and gave everyone B's. Before the final, he gave us a fixed curve and defined what an A would be, what a B would be, etc. But then proceeded to change his curve after the final and not answer any emails.
The fact that I forgot to mention this guy previously proves that he was so horrible that he became a repressed memory.
|6 years 12 weeks ago||Alan Deardorff||
Alan Deardorff. I feel bad for writing his name especially since Kuhn was worse, but I took Deardorff's Econ 340 class my first semester at Michigan and he would just put me out to sleep. I remember sleeping before he even started lecturing because I knew I was going to sleep anyways. All his exams were basically memorization and all he did was read his slides during lectures. Being a freshman, I didn't realize I could skip his class until there were only 3 weeks left of the semester.

I took this class with prof. Makin in Spring '08. I guess it would pretty easy if I had taken it during a normal semester, but taking an upper level writing class with tons of reading during the spring is not my idea of fun. Spring in Ann Arbor is way too nice to waste on learning.

I lived in Maynard House (it's not a house, its an apartment building) on 400 Maynard for 3 of my undergrad years. It's a bit on the expensive side but it is IMO one of the nicest places any student could live in while in Ann Arbor.
It's VERY close to campus; it's one block from State Street, above Cottage Inn, and it's right across the street from Tower Plaza. Electricity, heating, and water are included in the rent. The landlord and the rest of the building's staff are really nice. They have studios and 1 bedroom apt.s for rent, but demand is high because of location so few apt.s are vacant now.
Check www.postrealtyproperties.com for that property and others they own. Oh, and Tower Plaza isn't that bad either, but as the above poster said, NEVER live in U. Towers.
EDIT: You should also check out Corner House Apts. http://www.cmbmgmt.rentlinx.com/Property.aspx?PropertyID=1628 Not sure about how good the mgmt is but the apts were nice.

However you have to keep in mind that the med school acceptance rates for most schools is under 3%, just like Michigan's. It's because virtually the same group of people apply to a bunch of med schools; and then you have the whole early acceptance thing where you only have a couple of weeks to reserve your place at a school before the offer expires. This may lower the weight that rankings give to med school acceptance rates.
Don't know about law school, but it could be the same scenario. But for other grad schools (engin, econ, w/e), acceptance rates probably hold more weight.

TCF should hand out maize sweaters or t-shirts instead of the gray ones they've been handing out with new accounts. That'll help our maize-out a bit. The logo will still be there though.

A week before my first semester as a freshman in UM, I was staying in the Sheraton with my family near Briarwood mall. We were waiting for the elevator when all of a sudden a bunch of really tall, really big guys surrounded us and waited for the elevator too. I'm from Kuwait and knew next to nothing about football at the time, so they pretty much freaked me out and I thought they were gonna rob us or something. They were all shouting, laughing, and having a good time. When the elevator opened, only two of them walked in and made way for my family to step in too, while the rest of the team waited outside. Fine, young men we root for.

He could always go to Frank's Restaurant, it's pretty much a diner. It only opens for lunch and breakfast. It's on Maynard, underneath Tower Plaza, next to the bike shop and Madras Masala.
If only you hadn't said American, then Madras Masala would be the place to be...ah yes, butter chicken and kulfi mmmmmmm

I don't know about a different website, but you can try Internet Explorer to load the video if you're not using it already. I hate IE and use Chrome, but sometimes IE just works better.

Blimpy Burger is definitely good, but you should also try red hawk and Ashley's. Ashley's is a bar but their lineman burger is pretty good. I can't remember where else I used to go for a burger, but Blimpy Burger would always be on the top of my list.
EDIT: Forgot about the Grizzly Peak. It's somewhere along Main St. Can't remember which burger's the best but they're all definitely good.

Are games that are broadcast on ESPN or any ESPN-affiliated channel always available on espn360?

Few are predicting a win against Ohio State this season, so it's surprising that he's predicting a close game this November.

penn state 07 is my favorite memory too. When we got that final touchdown i high-fived 10 ppl, i only knew 2 of them but it wasn't awkward at all. From then on, i find it normal to high-five strangers in happy occasions.
|6 years 40 weeks ago||me too||
crap me too...except my dreams arent happy. Were always winning in the beginning, but end up losing at the end. It's always against sucky teams too. Then I get depressed for the rest of the day. I should stop reading this blog...basically not going to happen.

|6 years 40 weeks ago||alumni||
i was planning on signing up for espn360....but about this VPN client...can i use it as an alumni? that would be awesome if i can...i wouldnt mind paying some if its just a little more expensive than espn360 to account for the BTN games
|6 years 40 weeks ago||yessss||
i agree about pancheros. you're the second person ever to say that pancheros is better than btb. I mean BTB doesn't suck but panchero's is so much better. It has much more flavor. BTB just stuffs their burritos and doesn't care about the taste. Panchero's puts care and love into their burritos, they have so much taste. It was especially convenient for me since I was an econ major and it was close to Lorch. I would really go for a steak burrito (if i remember correctly it had rice, cheese, pintos beans, steak, mild sauce, and sour cream)with a bottle of Crush right now. Damn i miss ann arbor.
