i have neither corporate nor personal WSJ subscription and i could access it just fine. I also felt like it was onion-ish. The legend of Harbaugh has grown so great, it's getting hard to tell fact from fiction.

I like the UGA ones, too. Then again, UGA is the only one of those teams with black as a primary school color. Their student paper is even called The Red and Black.
Also +1 for ManU (not that I really follow EPL, but my company is a ManU sponsor)

Loved Wrinkle in Time, Wind in the Door, Tesseract... Awesome recommendation!

We like Pinkalicious, Syd Hoff (Danny and the Dinosaur, Sammy the Seal - although let's be real, Sammy is a Sea Lion, not a seal), Dr. Seuess, Frog and Toad, Beverly Cleary (Mouse and the Motorcycle, Ramona books), Judy Blume (Fudge), Laura Ingalls Wilder Little House on the Prairie series. My niece and nephew really like Boxcar Children. My rising 4th grader was really into Encyclopedia Brown last year. Magic Tree House is always a favorite, and there are something like 50+ books in that series.
Also stuff like I Want My Hat Back, Extra Yarn, Circus Ship, and others I can't think of off the top of my head.
They also liked audio books of Black Stallion, Indian in the Cupboard, and some Tinkerbell book (that was written by some British author and less overtly Disney-ish).

That's the interpretation of some researchers. Other researchers attribute the term to articles as early as the 1860's referring to the general blow-hardiness of Chicagoans (particularly in reference to the baseball rivalry with Cincinnati) stirring up tornados, hence "windy city."

"Every time I stick my nose into a sense of that, the robustness of it is really good. This is why I was happy and I'm even more delighted."
Wait, did Hackett just compare Jim Harbaugh to wine?
Also, I love his comment on marginal cost calculations. In layman's terms, you get what you pay for (in this case, at least).

That's a common reference to Chicago, although many use it while not knowing the source. Not saying Harbaugh isn't aware of the reference, but it's not necessarily because Carl Sandberg. Most people are also still under the impression that Chicago is called the Windy City b/c it's windy by the lake.

No, he's saying that, unlike Tyler Ecker, Bennie Joppru would have pitched the ball to Breaston.

I would be willing to bet that stomping on a winless ohio state team would feel pretty darn amazing.

Donate them. There are people who actually NEED this stuff because they don't have much else. Not wanting a homeless person to have Michigan stuff just feeds the stereotype that Michigan folks are arrogant, that this stuff is too good for the likes of "those people." I know you don't mean it that way, but it's a silly thing, if you think about it.

Very nice! My friend in the high end tuner industry has a 360 Modena and Gallardo. Fantastic cars. He feels the same way, although he does get some track time and has a special policy, I think, under his corporation. But I hear you. Even with more "attainable" cars (like my old MR2 Turbo), opportunities to let it out were scant indeed. There were some great mountain runs in North Georgia which were popular with the car and motorcycle clubs.
Once, a guy's girlfriend wrecked her car, putting a bit of a damper on our club outing. In any case, the sheriff's deputy came, did an accident report, and then proceeded to give the girl insight into why she crashed, even using the sound of a motorcycle's approaching engine as an exhibit into slowing down before the curve, and then accelerating through. She, like many rookies, hit the curve hot, attempted to brake mid-curve, and shot off the road into a tree (she was fine, the car not so much).

My slowest was a rental Fiat Panda while on our honeymoon in Tahiti back in 2003. According to wikipedia, it probably made about 51 bhp, manual transmission, manual windows. That thing was a piece. Then again, it didn't really need to go very fast to get around the island of Moorea.

To be precise, the Stealth was the Dodge version of the 3000GT.
Another great early 90's crossover were the Eagle Talon and Mitsubishi Eclipse, turbo AWD versions for both, of course.
The 90's were great for Japanese sports cars - heyday of the MR2, Supra, RX-7, Miata, Eclipse, 3000GT, 300ZX. You could also include cars like the Integra GSR, CRX, 240SX, and Celica (Alltrac from early 90s). Good times, man, good times.

Nice. I really liked the Sky when it came out, the Redline in particular. Recently saw a Solstice GXP hardtop on the road and had kinda forgotten about how much I liked the Sky/Solstice twins. Surprisingly, the Solstice has aged pretty well.
I had a 93 Toyota MR2 Turbo back in the day. That was a fun car. Didn't do much to it other than a manual boost controller to get boost up to about 14.3psi, which pushed about 200 rwhp. Never took it to the strip, although we did do plenty of mountain runs in north Georgia. Screaming around those twisty mountain roads at 60+ mph in 3rd gear was a TON of fun (until some dude's girlfriend goes off the road and totals her car - true story). I'd take that any day over 100mph at the drag strip.

This is true. Greg Maddux is about as close to a shoe-in as you can get and even he missed 16 votes. How you don't believe Maddux is worthy of a HOF vote is beyond me.
Note: Big Unit clocked in at 97.3% of votes, missing out on 15 votes. He also had only 549 voters compared to 571 last year. Mad Dog and Big Unit were practically even in the voting.

Our neighbor has goats in a fenced off area. They rarely have to mow that section. Owner is a vet, so they also have chickens, dogs, an iguana, and some fish.
We also have 4 chickens. We generally only have to buy eggs during the winter, when egg production slows down to maybe 1 a day between the 4 birds. Otherwise, we average 3-4 eggs per day during spring/summer/fall.
