|10 hours 35 min ago||the name||
doesn't help me. Is she a local news person or school administrator?
EDIT: NVM, googled, looks like she's an anchor for the local Detroit ABC affiliate.

the proper term is "Resting B**** Face"

of a shorter version of this:

How does this incident support that impression? The cop's reaction was to arrest him and take him to the station to get booked, where he sat in jail for 12 hours.

I'll gladly take a Zeke Elliott. Hated that guy at osu, but man - he is tearing it up as a rook in Dallas. PFF consistently has him as one of the top 3-4 rookies week-to-week (along with Dak Prescott - what's in the water in Dallas these days?).
Also, can I just emphasize how much I hate osu? Of PFF's top rookies this week, they have Zeke Elliott, Joey Bosa, Michael Thomas, and Taylor Decker. Also Jordan Howard and Jack Conklin.

What about Doom II? People still play that, right? No? Sorry, I'll go back to my irc chat room now.

Nobody likes regifting, bad-joke-telling dentists. That's right, I'm anti-dentite and proud of it.

|2 days 16 hours ago||OTE||
does has some pretty funny pieces (the weekly MS Paint and themed power polls are good, imo), but they definitely do have a strong Michigan hate thing going. They have a lot of msu, psu, and msu folks, as well as general Michigan hate. Not sure why - there is no real msu or osu hate, even when msu took a nosedive this year.
I just choose to ignore the self-generated Jabrill/Harbaugh haterism over there and have become a bit more selective in what I read and participate in. Lately, it's been 50/50 for me.

the joke Florida fans would make about UT when it seemed like the Vols were a perennial fixture in the Citrus Bowl while UF would be in the Orange/Sugar/Fiesta bowl.

Not impressed. Whetaver.
|3 days 14 hours ago||I have a couple of friends||
I have a couple of friends who started crossfit and this is exactly the reason why - they were competitive athletes in high school and college and miss the physical challenge. They're pretty full-bore into it.
|3 days 14 hours ago||My dad (now retired) did||
My dad (now retired) did acupuncture at his medical practice and had a few athlete patients. It's absolutely incomprehensible to me what they (heavy contact sport athletes, especially) put their bodies through.
As a completely random sidenote, my uncle has a dry cleaner in Buckhead and has many athlete customers, also.
And I once took a sandwich order from Dominique Wilkins at my summer job working at Gorin's in Atlanta. He signed a menu for me.
What were we talking about again?

we see it way to often in sports sites, but that type of language is never appropriate. how is it that we can be so cavalier about rape and assault?

|1 week 11 hours ago||I disagree||
That's just sticking with a legacy system to be contrarian and/or stubborn. Unless you have critical applications/programs which may not work properly on W10, I think it makes the most sense to get a W10 machine. If you're a casual user, you'll get used to the new look/feel, as we all did when MS introduced ribbons in MS Office.
Not liking Mac, not being used to it, etc. are not compelling reasons to stick with W7.
|1 week 11 hours ago||Just got a new home PC with||
Just got a new home PC (convertible laptop) with Win10. Old laptop had Win7, as does work laptop. It's definitely a little different and takes some getting used to, but it's fine. My kids, in particular, took to it very quickly, so must be at least somewhat intuitive :)
My wife hates change, so isn't a fan (it took her forever to get around to texting, then a smartphone), but I think it's fine. Our laptop also has touch and that works much better in Win10 than in 7.
