Nope, in fact, it has a sideways copywrite symbol. Go figure...

That's it exactly. It's not the driving factor, but he mentioned it in the interview so it's at least a secondary or tertiary consideration. Therefore, let's play that up since Shane Morris and CTE and Chris Borland! Much more interesting than the throwaway one-liner the put in there about him being burned out on football.

Position it as an experiment. You both hate your jobs and this represents an opporunity to shake things up and do something different. Check potential job listings for your wife and present some possibilities. You are not tied down to being close to family due to kids, so you should be enjoying your mobility. Appeal to other passions in her life that align to what MI has to offer (outdoors, beer, sailing, beaches, etc.). Use it as an opportunity to share some of YOUR passions more fully with her (Michigan obvsly, but other stuff, too) and for her and your family to get to know each other a bit better.
It's a great opportunity for you to strike out on your own as a couple and learn to live as a husband and wife without (overly) leaning on her family. It will change the dynamic, and you could make the case that it's for the better.
I'll be frank - if she's pretty tied to family, then it's a tough sell, but not nearly as tough if you had kids. I moved to Chicago away from my family because we had a kid and another on the way and she wanted to be near HER support system. Fortunately for me, I really like Chicago and my company is HQed there.

You're missing a HUGE part of the story and taking Pitino's statement way out of context. The implication isn't that he lost a kid b/c he didn't want to wear Adidas shoes or uniforms. It was basically an accusation that Nike has its tendrils in way too deep with the AAU scene and can basically use its influence on coaches and AAUE teams to drive top kids to Nike-branded schools, so that those same Nike schools will be more successful than the Adidas and Under Armour schools, putting Nike at the forefront of the conversation.
Same thing could probably be said for all the football camps and programs sponsored by Nike. There was even a story about how Nike bet on a handful of schools (UO, Bama, FSU, osu) to make the inaugural CFB playoff by designing special uniforms before the season even started.

that's the thing. Michigan is one of Illinois' rivals, but it doesn't really go both ways. Not since the 80's, anyway. My wife and her siblings are all U of I grads and, because of them, many of my friends are U of I grads. They acknowledge that they hate Michigan, but that we're not really rivals in any real sense of the word.

And he was nothing at USD, where he coached them to the only 10+ win seasons in program history. Or at San Francisco which, when he took over in 2010, hadn't had a 9 game winning season since 2002. He promptly took them to 3 straight NFC championship games, including one Super Bowl.
But yeah, he sucks.

Not sure what winning "countless Rose Bowls" (I count two Rose Bowl wins in that timeframe, by the way) has to do with basketball.
I'd say that this recent couple of years of national championship game and Elite Eight runs were pretty fantastic. Remember, too, that Michigan has as many Big Ten regular season championships (2) in Beilein's tenure (2012, 2014) as they did during your tenure (1985, 1986).
You also didn't have to suffer through Brian Ellerbe as the head coach.

Great to see the growth at the end of the season! Another off-season of conditioning and we should see some sophomore leaps (I'm looking at you #3!). Now go win the NIT!
Also, thanks, ESPN, for referring to Michigan as the "Spartans" TWICE in the game recap...

people who agree to go on judge judy or maury povich are in it for the money. they're happy embellishing their issues and acting up in front of the cameras for a few bucks. anyone appearing on judge judy is having far from the worst moments of their lives. it's strictly entertainment - judge judy knows it, the plaintiffs/defendents know it, and the viewing audience knows it (or should).
entertainment news is just vapid.
paparazzi coverage of people's issues, on the other hand, is less-than-respectable by a country mile.

He won't get them back. Just as with Bobby Bowden (but on a much bigger scale), the NCAA takes violation of its rules much more seriously than breaking of laws that don't explicitly violate any NCAA rules.

To be fair, that also appears to be the plaque that sits in front of what is now a Frank Gore mannequin. Doesn't make much sense to have a plaque about Harbaugh in front of a display for someone else, now does it? They could have at least put up a sign indicating that it's temporary until the Frank Gore plaque is up.

Back in the 90's, lost my favorite Michigan hat.
Basically a Bo-style hat (blue with yellow stitched block M), but with a brown suede bill and brown leather adjustment strap in back. I believe it also had MICHIGAN stitched in little letters over or next to the opening in the back.
That was an awesome hat. So bummed when I lost it.
My favorite current hat is my fitted block M cap from the 90s. Pretty disgusting, though, so my wife hates when I wear it.
