- Readers predict the final score of a designated game by placing a guess in the comments, preferably in the format of [M score][hyphen][Opp score], for example "41-30" or "35-31 Michigan", or "28-24 Go Blue", or "38-34 Gardner FTW!" or "38-0" etc.
- The three guys who read this part holler at people who post in a different format

In previous years, ESPN has updated the coverage maps on Thursday. Wait one more day, but you'll likely get UM-Utah

If Jack Miller likes jam bands, he should check out the John Butler Trio. Pretty solid outfit from Australia.

outside of certain government buildings and banks, casinos probably have the most security cameras per square foot of any establishments in the world.

I thought it was Roberta Flack who first recorded the song, but she made it famous. The original recording artist was a lady named Lori Lieberman, who is unknown to me.

Previous suspension was for the next 3 games, period. it just so happened that those 3 games were the bowl game and the first 2 games of this season.

Very vague statement (not that I expect them to spill the kid's medical history - not important for any of us to know, in fact). "Medical attention" could mean treating anything from mental health issues to a physical ailment to addiction. Either way, seems like the appropriate outcome to suspend him indefinitely.

So I'm confused. Are bowties still cool?
Not sure I've completely warmed up to Peter Capaldi yet, although I am happy for the change. Interesting dynamic he has going with Clara. Then again, he is supposed to be pretty gruff. I have to say, though, that the most recent episode was a bit frustrating.

7 TDs, 6 PATs, 1 FG, and 1 Safety
Miami gets 1 TD, 1 PAT, blocks a botched PAT attempt by Michigan and runs back for 2pts, and 1 FG

If questionable, hold them out. If they're ok to go, I'd like to see them in there for a quarter, maybe a half tops. I would also like to see Peppers out there getting some reps.
|6 days 8 hours ago||About camels||
Neat little mnemonic device used to tell which camels have 1 hump and which have 2 humps. Uppercase D has one "hump" so that goes with Dromedary camels, which have one hump. Uppercase B has two "humps" so that goes with Bactrian camels, which have two humps. My kids should never forget which camel is which.

Why so worked up over this? Does this personally offend you somehow that some person on the internet is posting a thread about something in which he is interested? Seriously? Get over it.

They made a statement b/c it would get around pretty quickly anyway that he was no longer with the team. Better to make a pre-emptive statement about it than to allow unchecked speculation to run wild. At least this way, they can craft the message before some stupid trolls come up with "inside sources" telling them that Bosch left the team for whatever negative reasons they can come up with.

Definitely not Brian's sense of insight and humor, although it wasn't bad. Wisconsin was definitely a huge miss, though. And with the latest news about the yips, they shouldabeen a shoe-in.
I'll still read it and appreciate a heads-up when it's posted.

notre dame is #16, up one from the preseason poll. Oregon is #3, tough challenge for #7 msu (+1). ohio state is #8 (-3). Wisco is #18 (-4), while Nebraska is #19 (+3).

Not to agree with a domer, but i agree with a domer. notre dame is going to be just fine from a recruiting perspective. Aside from being on NBC every home game, they are still the most popular college football team in the Chicago area (sorry NW and Illinois). Local news reports on college football ALWAYS include the Fig Things along with schools actually in Illinois (U of I, NW, NIU).

I grew up in Atlanta, so the drive between Atlanta and AA took me up 75 through Tennessee and Kentucky, which are gorgeous to driver through, and then through Ohio. Once you're past Cincy, the state gets pretty lame pretty fast. Out past Dayton, it's frightfully dull. Can't agree more with other upthread on this point.
