And yes, I am that guy. Your grammar is too good. The bad grammar is what makes it funny, and a meme in the first place. Here is the correct structure:
"All your <singular noun which should be plural> are belong to us."
Now, let's try an example with a group of bullies taking other kidss lunches:
"All your lunch are belong to us! Ha Ha!"
How about the grinch after he and his dog, max, steal all the presents from whoville?
"All your present are belong to us!"
Ok, one more. This is one where Harbaugh snake oils a bunch of great recruits from other schools:
"All your recruit are belong to us! HARBAUGH!"
See how easy that is? Alright, now you try it...

I'd say that most private universities offer this benefit, or at least a significant discount on tuition for spouses and children. Most public universities do not.
My father used to work on staff at the Emory Clinic (part of Emory University) for about 15 years. When he couldn't convince either my older sister or me to attend Emory (free tuition!), he quit and focused on his private practice.

I agree that it's certainly disappointing, but your shock that anyone from the University could ever be involved in something like this is naive. People, especially with a little alcohol thrown in, can do some tremendously stupid things, no matter how smart or classy they may be otherwise.
|5 days 17 hours ago||A couple of responses||
First, it's a maturity issue, mentally and emotionally. Some are more mature than others and make better decisions than others. This is the case whether you're talking about military, NFL, or corporate America.
Second, an 18-20 year old's body is not fully mature. I had a conversation with a US Navy pediatric ER doc in Hawaii once (didn't know the family, but our kids somehow started playing together, so we chatted). It seems the military is sending pediatric docs overseas to take care of the younger soldiers, as they've realized that their bodies are not fully mature and often need a different level of care and expertise than "regular" doctors can give. As a peds doc, he was deployed to the middle east and Afghanistan for that very reason.
Finally, my brother-in-law, a CAPT in the US Navy, will also tell you that the E-1 enlisted sailors really are just kids, for what it's worth.
Being physically able to go to war has nothing to do with whether or not someone is a "grown man" (whatever that ambiguous term really means).

Because no other team does anything shady at all to try to gain a competitive advantage, right? Only the Patriots?
According to Matt Bowen (former Iowa and NFL safety) in 2010, after the Broncos taping incident:
It happens everywhere. The sad thing about this article is that, aside from "Spygate" the best evidence Rosenberg has of cheating is a legal maneuver against the Raves and rumor/innuendo.

|6 days 1 hour ago||Nick Chubb||
The crazy thing about his season is that he only got 12 carries in his first 3 games combined, and had 5 games this season with fewer than 10 carries. However, in those 5 games, he had 29 carries for 305 yards, at 10.5 yds per carry. Lest anyone think it came over the dregs, two of those games were against SCar and Clemson. He had over 100 yards in his last 7 games, including 156 yards and 7.4 ypc (!) against Florida, 144 yards and 7.6 ypc against Auburn, and 266 yards and 8.1 ypc against Louisville in the bowl game.
Had he played a full season as starter, he would've been over 2000 rushing yards at that pace and be mentioned in the same breath as Melvin Gordon and Ezekiel Elliott. As it is, I have to imagine he's an early front-runner for Heisman along with Elliott.
|6 days 2 hours ago||There is a difference. And||
There is a difference.
And he never criticized Beilein or his staff, but said that there are probably some who negatively recruit. He's always been very complimentary of Beilein in the past, although I can think of a few programs for which he has no love lost (particularly the ones which take the really big recruits).
And as for making presumptions about overuse injuries, he never said "definitely" but did suggest that it was, yes. And then he gave another example of one of his own players. Whether he thinks it or not, I don't see how that statement in any way indicts Michigan's staff. You're looking for a fight where there isn't one. Get over it.
|6 days 2 hours ago||Where are you quoting "wish"||
Where are you quoting "wish" from? The only time Izzo was quoted as using that word was in the following statement. You're clearly taking something way out of context.
"When you go through a bunch of injuries yourself, I wouldn't have wished this (on them), I am not happy."
|6 days 2 hours ago||You don't properly understand||
You don't properly understand what an overuse injury is. It doesn't mean that a "player is overused" but is generally a result of repetitive microtrauma. Doesn't mean Beilein played him too much.
|6 days 2 hours ago||Don't turn this into "Izzo wants kids to get hurt"||
It's not like he's down in his basement doing voodoo spells so opposing players get hurt, or telling his kids to go out and injure them. The fact is that any coach would be at least a little relieved to not have to worry about the other team's star player, which is also why there is so much gamesmanship when it comes to injury reports. Coaches are purposely vague when it comes to releasing injuries to their players b/c they know that means other coaches have to prep for it, possibly making it wasted time not preparing for different looks with different players.

He only has to be in the top 24, so he's assured of the 2nd round for now. HOWEVA, the rules also state that the overall winner will be determined by the total number of votes received throughout the competition, not just in the final round. So the more votes Beilein gets, even in round 1, increases the odds he will win the really big bucks for St. Louis Center.

Looking at the draft history, I had forgotten that they also drafted deandre cobb from msu, and that Kenn is the last Michigan guy they drafted - in 1978. Before that, they also took Carl Russ (LB, '75), James Coode (T, '74), and the great Billy Taylor (RB, '72).
Sidenote: wow, didn't realize Billy Taylor had such a tragic life after his career at Michigan ended.

No, the real reason they're not going to an 8 team playoff is that it would overly compromise the bowl system and the current institution would not stand for all the lost revenue, especially if they implemented such that the first round were on the campuses of the more highly ranked teams.
|1 week 4 days ago||My definition of a||
My definition of a competitive rivalry (which I should probably have spelled out earlier) is one in which the two programs are on a relatively even level over an extended period of time, and ideally both at or near the top of the sport.
Michigan-osu is NOT a competitive rivalry when one is hobknobbing with college football's elite and the other is largely indistinguishable from Purdue and Illinois, based on the results, even if some of the games themselves are close.

Army has lost the last 13 games by an average of 21 points, and only 3 of those games ended within a TD. In that same time frame, Army has averaged only 3 wins per season (and only once had a winning record) compared to 8 wins per season for Navy (with only one <.500 season).
Incredible historic rivalry, but I would be hesitant to be able to call it "competitive" from an objective standpoint.

Late round pickup due to his physical attributes and previous experience at the position, particularly if he runs and catches well at pro day. Not any higher than 5th round, more likely 6/7.

My one hope is that Alabama and USC saw some pretty lean years, lending credence to the thought that college football is cyclical, and that Michigan will be back on the upswing soon. Can't keep a historically dominant program down for long, right?

Xbox One was a gift last year. We have a few games but I'm not a huge gamer and, well, my wife and daughters (6 and 9) are even less so. I do love Madden, Titanfall, and FIFA; kids love Rayman, Just Dance (although man some song lyrics in 2015 are just not age appropriate), and Zoo Tycoon.
Also a big user of the apps (Watch ESPN, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Skype, etc.). There are enough free features to keep it interesting.
We also have Kinect and definitely useful for certain games. Obviously can't do Just Dance without it (if you're into that game) and some of the voice commands work pretty well.
Funny thing - whenever that Xbox One commercial came on and the guy would say "Xbox on", our Xbox would turn on.

I think someone (maybe me??) once posted a thread about collegiate crocs on sale. I bought the UM crocs for $10 with free shipping. I left them at the gym about a year later and never saw them again. But yes, Michigan crocs was also a thread. I, for one, don't mind the random threads about random Michigan-branded products.

The thing with Rodriguez is that he actually did something really well (offense) and had a trend of improvement over his 3 years as head coach. Hoke doesn't have that "one thing" on which to hang his hat, and his trend has been negative over his 4 years.
|7 weeks 6 days ago||Agreed||
Be decisive, for once, and do what should be done. Recruiting visits make no sense right now, unless the AD has somehow given Hoke the impression that he will not be fired, or Hoke is just too stubborn to acknowledge it.
I understand Hoke's position - unless told otherwise, he's the coach and he's going to do what he thinks needs to be done. If he has recruiting visits already set up, canceling them can only be an indication to those athletes that he is, in fact, done.
The AD just needs to bring some clarity and ASAP. Michigan has no bowl game to play for, so no complication there. Best to cut the cord now and get a new coaching staff in place sooner than later in order to preserve as much of the recruiting season as possible.

It's a high risk-high reward strategy for them. IMO, it's a way to make up for the deficiencies of their players, not unlike how everyone used to call Beilein's 1-3-1 a gimmicky defense meant to overcome his players' deficiencies.

|9 weeks 3 days ago||It's the timing||
He was offered a full scholarship and committed. He also informed the coaches he would be graduating early and reporting to campus in January 2015. Now, 2 weeks before his HS graduation and 7 weeks before he was to start classes at college, he is basically being told not to bother showing up, but to wait a year before being granted a scholarship. His options are:
If he were offered a greyshirt from the beginning, then this would be a complete non-issue.
|9 weeks 3 days ago||actually||
No, Dan Mullen didn't really give him an option.
I've copied ESPN's definition below, but he basically said thanks, we want you, but not until spring semester in 2016. He graduates in 2 weeks. if he wants to go to mississippi state, he can't enroll full time. He could theoretically enroll part time, pay $12k per semester for tuition, room, board, books, etc., and have nothing to do with the football program while on campus. Great option.
Everybody who follows college football is pretty much aware of what a redshirt is, and a grayshirt is basically a delayed version of a redshirt. When a recruit grayshirts, he signs a letter of intent in February but doesn't report for fall practices with his teammates. He delays entry to the school until the spring semester of his freshman year, keeping the NCAA five-year eligibility clock from starting. During that first semester, he can't enroll in college as a full-time student, can't receive his scholarship, can't practice and can't be around the program in any official capacity.
|9 weeks 3 days ago||self-righteous much?||
Saying a kid needs a backup plan sounds all well and good in theory, but he just had the rug pulled out from under him a couple weeks to HS graduation and 7 weeks until classes start at miss st. I would've been feeling pretty comfortable about my future college plans at that point, also.

If I'm reading this article correctly, it seems to suggest that the first 3 stay bonuses of $500k each were paid out in December 2013 after completing his 3rd full season after the bowl game. So far this year, no stay bonus until he completes the season. If you were to recalc after the bowl games, Hoke's compensation would be at least $600k higher than what is listed (stay bonus + annual contractual increase in base pay of $100k/year).

Sumlin? Maybe, but he's been trending down, also. 11-2, 9-4 (with a close bowl win over Duke), and currently sits at 7-4 with the final game against LSU. Could very well end the regular season at 7-5. Is that a $5M/year coach?

I don't see how this is disrespective Beilein. It's a guy's opinion based on the talent and experience we have on hand. Probably sees it as having lost some key talent (GRIII, Stauskas, McGary, Morgan, Horford) with young talent to replace, but lacking in key areas, i.e., the frontcourt. Michigan WILL be weaker in the post than last year, practically a given. The question is whether Caris can truly become elite and the youngsters can fill the gaps left by GRIII and Morgan/Horford (and, to an extent, McGary).

Particularly true for the ortho cases, I believe.
