after i recovered i came to the conclusion that this is what happens when your team is relevant. it's only been to 2 years, so it may be a coincidence. if it happens again in a year or 2 it tells me we are back to being a relevant program. being a big part of the conversation year in and year out is all i really want and getting your hopes crushed is going to be the result more times than not. i'd forgotten what it felt like to actually have legitimate expectations. Hiring John Beilein was a good idea. Other than that, we had a lot of holes that were going to catch up with us sooner or later.
playing furman and avery. We could never get more than 7 in the box, often only had 6. We can to cover up the spread guys which left us very short on bodies near the ball.
in plain english, what is Brian upset about? I know he's been down since the PSU game. That's when I decided I didn't want to invest anymore emotion in this team.
if gallon doesn't field that rolling punt saving time and distance. if dileos route had taken him 1 second further from the spot. if glanda holds the ball any longer. if the refs fuck around. actually having 11 guys on the field. ....
Like the majority of kids, he chose the path of least resistance to a degree. In this case, engineering. When kids say they chose a school for academics they're probably not lying. Said school will be easier and they know it.
There is NOOOO excuse. They just gave up 85 points and lost to 0-14 Penn fuckin' State. I'm done wasting 2+ hours of my day and having my blood boil while wasting it.
I never understood the move to DB in the first place. The coaches are always talking about wanting bigger physical corners and then they try Norfleet out at the position? Even if there was an immediate/temporary need there moving him made no sense at all, to me at least.
Considering the 2012 and 2013 o-line classes, getting top notch o-linemen in 2014 could be a problem. I hate even thinking it, but I can already see tranfers in the future, especially if they take 6 this year. A1 o-linemen may have to wait again until 2015.
this isn't the nfl. there isn't a draft. you can bring in all the talent allowable by law at every position. so far morris is the only skilled position offencive player that qualifies as a game changer recruited by hoke and company. if anyone thinks otherwise it's probably because the bar has been lowered so far. some of these guys may become solid, but not game changers. i think braylon edwards father said as much as well the other morning on the gbw radio hour. i have to agree.
16 teams is whacked. This isn't even a conference anymore. Now, to get to the Rose Bowl you have to win your conference AND win a play in game with another conference.
We be outcoached today. You have to expect half a dozen trick plays out of Dantonio against Michigan. Borges still struggles to come up anything against a good D. Thank you Mr. Mattison and your crew.
The only path to the NFL goes through college, not even community college it seems. This and schools drive for money and wins seems to be a problem. This means there will always be kids in major colleges who have no business being there. The other 3 major team sports at least have some path to their leagues for kids who don't belong or don't want to go to college.
I like to look at classes in 2 or 3 year chunks. The 12 class and 11 class combined or the 12 and 13 classes combined. Maybe even a class and the ones before and after it combined. As long as any holes left in the 12 class get filled this year it's all good.
When I heard he and his Mommy were concerned about the linemen that were already commited my first thought was that he wasn't looking to have to compete for playing time. Been biting my tounge with regards to this kid the whole process and just couldn't care less one way or the other anymore. We need a center right now more than a tackle anyway. There a ton of really good tackles on the board for 2013 already, but in 2013 we'll only have 1 center and I really don't want him backed up by a true freshman.
I think academics means very little, regardless of what the kids say. I also think a lot of kids do choose for academics, EASY academics. I remember hearing kids say they picked Fla St. for academics. Well yeah, someone else was writing exams for them ... on-line no less. And if anyone remembers Andy Katzenmoyer (sp?) at O$U you'll know what a joke classes are over there.I expect a lot of kids are offered a free diploma at a lot of schools and they jump on the free ride.
If the Ark. player hadn't shoved his forearm ( I think it was his forearm) into Novaks throat on the way up first, nothing would have happened. It may have even been a clean block.

he'll have to answer for everything some day, just like the rest of us.

Of allll the obvious calls that haven't been over turned, and they over turn that fucking thing ???
the fact that what your university wears should have any effect on a recruit is the most retarded fucking thing i have heard .... today.
In your title you probably should have put the word experts in quotations as well.
who cares !!!!!! they would just rule for osu anway !!!
NEVER want to see these fucked up fucking fuckers doing a UM road game.
sees the replay of that out of bounds, i hope he goes balistic on the refs in the post game
Are either gutless cowards or are sooooooooooooo FUBR !!!!!!!!!!! no getting around it.

they already burned his red shirt for absolutely nothing, so getting him some snaps that matter wouldn't suck.
but I would not be surprised if this statement was made now because of the Peppers situation.

It's good that he is using several resources. For a while there I thought his sole evaluation tool was looking to see if Hoke had ofered them.
or Joe's Joke Shop maybe.

Did you have this Hello already written?

I can't remember smiling for 3 1/2 hours straight before or since.
This is turning into one big advertisement for ND, NBC, Rivals, ND, the Robinson (ND), and ND occasionally interupted by a play. NBC does it again.

Douchebag Danielson is on suicide watch.
ACC SPEED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No.
he said something along the lines of, its 21-20 at half. if we don't let them score we win the game.
really??? they gave up 6 points the second half. do you really want to go with that???
definitely agree there are some game changers recruited by hoke on the d. on the o, morris, and that's it.

Help me out. I see Morris at QB, but who are these playmakers all over that you speak of?
the first time i ever saw D Rob in the end zone and not take a knee
There is NO hypothetical. Short of 1 game per year it's going to be same teams over and over again.
This fucking debacle may require it's own podcast

I think Brian expected to be feeling a buzz a lot of the time.

Was happy to not see any wild snaps. Hoping that's the norm.
The tweet, or whatever the hell it's called has been removed. I think and believe it should be only 2 lb's for 2013.
not even a guess. I think I saw this more than once last season

These kids better be aware that if they do commit, UM is the ONLY campus they'll be visiting as per Hoke rule 1.
Also, I think I read that D. Thomas visited his cousin Dunn at O$U. I wonder how Brady plans to handle situations like that.
and all, there's no getting around that. But I have to laugh at the whole thing after watching this kids broadway production of his announcement.
If he does visit o$u it may be just to tell urban to get the fuck out of his life to his face.

Just one guys thoughts on the whole thing.
The exception that proves the rule?
