Gabbert continues on his current career trajectory it might not be too long before wecould be hearing "Henne to Robinson". However, it just won't be in primetime. This could be the first season anyone's ordered the NFL package specifically to see Jacksonville.
in regards to idea of whether theyre worthy of that type of recognition having never won a title. Personally I think they are worthy. The fact that it was a team of five starting freshman who were at times completely dominate, and did it in an incredibly entertaining, albeit cocky was so polarizing. All this in an era where players tended to graduate, 5 starting freshman was just unheard of. While a title is missing, 2 strait championship game (the 2nd w/o cwebb) appearances is still pretty amazing. If our starting unit had been a mixture of classes like it is now, Id be more apt to side with you. I just think freshman factor is unique and interesting that it warrants some type of recognition.
the momentum really shifted once Theus, had to sit early in the 1st after picking up two quick fouls. With Theus in the game VCU looked tough, deflecting passes and causing turnovers. Smart then called on Brionte Weber, reigning A10 defensice player of the year, to sub in for the senior leader and captain. Thats when UM took over. Weber couldnt stay infront of Burke, constantly getting burned and leaving his bigs on an island. After the blow-by, Burke was left with an easy option of kicking it out to an open shooter spotted up, or drop it off to a big for an easy 2. The 2nd half started much like the first with Theus and VCU wreaking 'havoc', forcing turnovers on UMs first 3 posessions. But, sticking to the script, Theus picked up his 3rd foul soon after, and was consequently replaced by Weber.... Wash, rinse, repeat, and youve got a 25pt win and a trip to the sweet 16.
Saints owner Tom Benson bought the N.O. Hornets recently. Also, T.B. Bucs owner Malcom Glazer also owns Man U. Not a U.S. pro team, but a pro team nonetheless.
Hahah. that sounded awful. Prob bc I had the pleasure of watching the game with 3 sparties. Needless to say, I was extremely obnoxious in celebration as a result.
McQuay will be here for NW as well. Also, Green posted on Twitter today "Miami might be back in it". The "17 yr old on twitter" meme came to mind when I read that.... Could just be my coping mechanism though.

Never knew Dan Severn did a little pre-UFC modeling.
Get on my lawn!... Those are sweet.
the high pitch "oooh" like he just got cup checked. Now we just need someone to DJ Steve Porterize it and we'll be all set.
Michigan Man! Speaking of Michigan Men on the OL, do we still take 6 this class?
if Saban would be on-board w/ Chip Kellys extremely unsafe pace of play.

Alright, who switched the medicine ball w/ the game ball again?!
p.s. That has so much gif potential.
still getting his spring back after suffering a leg injury before the season. I think his post presence will be big for us come the start of B1G play.
pretty sweet too.
saying it in anything other than a british accent. Still sounds pretty badass....
64 is too young!
... just changed his underwear.
Touche, Good Sir.
I think it fits McGary better. Big, energetic, kinda clumsy, and a tad naive. In a good way. I like it though.
responded to Hollis, "Wait, so floor decals are a bad idea, but playing on an aircraft carrier isnt?"

D.B., Send Lloyd Brady out the way he deserves. Honor that man on senior day with rest of our graduating players. Hes earned it!
