As a father of two, this is truly heartbreaking to see. I'd loosely followed the #chadtough story from afar, but seeing the picture of a boy in his father's arms hit home incredibly hard. There must be some relief to see the struggle come to an end, but man... RIP little guy.
I thought he was cleared to return to the game after being checked out on the sideline. I saw the tweet about a sling, but I don't see any way the trainers would miss a broken collarbone. Hopefully the rumors are just that.
We've seen how hard these guys have been working, so I really feel for the injured player. Hopefully the team and staff are just being careful. Regardless, let's hope for a speedy and complete recovery.
Just FYI, I received my copy (mailed to Halifax) on August 2. Donated the first day of the kickstarter campaign. Wasn't quick to arrive, but it was mailed to NS without issue.
As a result of the current Sparty state of feeling slighted, it took me way too long to figure out this was a joke.
My favorite recent Sparty gem: They won the Big Ten Championship with their conference record, but lost the Big Ten Championship game. Thus, the Badgers won the game, but are not the Big Ten champs.
People complain about Brian doing it too, but this is his blog. If you read it, you accept that. Otherwise, I think most of us are beyond the Rodriguez years at this point. Let's just focus on what the current staff can/will do.

I do have to say I'm a bit disappointed. You've made it significantly more difficult to view the Spartans and their football program as a bunch of thugs and criminals. I don't enjoy saying it, but hats off to Dantonio and his team. Classy move for a most deserving young lady.

Yes, the camera filming you is the problem, not your reaction or loss of composure. He may be a good coach good at winning football games, but Brian Kelly is a douche.
This disappoints me a bit. I think fan cams are stupid good for filling dead time and work great for sports like baseball. At Michigan stadium, I'd rather see the dead time used to have the band or former/current athletes as the focal point. Maybe I'm just getting old early...

I think that next time you should just sack up and post without any modifier (other than perhaps OT). The negs you might get for something that was already posted are a good way of encouraging people to use the MGoSearch and limiting repetition on the board. Plus, once you're over the threshold for new posts, who cares about MGoPoints?

I live in Halifax, NS. I haven't found many UM fans here, except for my wife and our daughter. I've seen a few M hats and sweatshirts around town, but it's a pretty big tourist destination (for Atlantic Canada), so I doubt they were locals.
This is sad. Not so much that Tate is leaving (saw that coming), but that he seems to think he was wronged. I wish the best for you, Tate, and I hope you figure things out.

I think the McAuslan Oatmeal Stout is a fav right now because of the cold-ish weather. I've had Le Fin du Monde before, but I'll have to keep an eye out for Dead Elephant (where is it from?). My other favorite of the moment is the Brasserie Dieu du Ciel Aphrodisiaque. It's a great stout, if you haven't tried it.

They're harder to see than our maize stripes, but there are definitely shoulder stripes on the Nebraska uniforms. Not a fan.
They look better in the video, but I'm still not a fan. At least we're only going to see them once in the regular season.
