akearney50 akearney50 kind of stole mine. Here in Ohio where I'm from we all just call him The F.U.P.A.
opinion my honest opinion after watching the game on t.v. was that Ezeh lets the blockers come to him first. He doesn't hit the hole and make a move. He lets the blocker come to him, catches him, then tries to push him around and it doesn't work. and did anyone else notice his little spin move he tries to do? what is that?
although... as long as the recruits can't see those fans..i hate when i go to my seats and all i hear all game long is "down in front" pisssses me off!
i agree a lot with what i agree a lot with what every1 has said. but i really do think tradition plays a key role in the whole situation. if it weren't for the tradition of UM football, you wouldnt have the fans that go out for the games every year. such as myself that drives over 3 hours for the games every year. and i believe that with the tradition and the turnout for the games it makes the recruits experience that much better. imagine if there werent tradition and the stadium was half full. how many recruits would be drawn to that. a lot of my friends go to OSU and they arent the typical fan they understand football. and most of them actually think UM has a chance to beat OSU this year. Just saying.
great topic my name speaks for itself..a lil history behind it..i was born and raised in Wadsworth, ohio...a lil out of akron. i've been surrounded by OSU fans all my life... and thats speaks numbers for itself so i was always lookin for a team to root for. we have a lot of relatives in michigan and my bro ended up going to UofM. so i went to a game with my bro in AA and since then i've been in looove with UofM football. i get so much shit where im from but i dont care..UofM football is a family and i love everything about it..so thats how i became a fan and i'm the biggest fan in my area..cant wait for opening game this year.
a stretch i know this is a biiiigggg and i mean biiiig stretch.. but maybe getting just one more rb..with a bruiser like hopkins who is supposed to have a lil speed.. and with shaw who has great speed..won nationals in track..and toussaint who is qualified if my people down here in ohio are correct.. what if..here is the stretch..what if we take a person like a gallon or feagan who were ath..and turn them into a sort of percy harvin type..can run the ball out of some formations and catch the ball out of the backfield..would that maybe clear that up?
first post this is my first post..i've been lookin for a site like this and i love it.. on the topic..i ran track back in the day and i went to nationals and everything..and with DRob..there are two types of 100m runners..u either get out of the blocks fast and go or u are a top end guy..so what i'm getting at is you cant base a guys 100 time and tell that he's gonna be a burner on the fball field because fball fast is a lot diff. its in such short distances..and by looking at his highlights i see him as a top end guy..which means he may not break a lot in the ls to 15 yard..but if he gets an opening and gets past that 15 yl..he will be gone with his top end speed. im excited about this upcoming season.
