I'm on my phone posting is why I didn't look it up. I don't know why this has turned into something about Arnett. It is just my example. What about this kid he just said is pretty much not any good at any part of football? He says stuff like this all the time and you guys act like it's great info. What about when these kids get on here and read this junk he posts. He has every right to speak his mind but I cant believe we are quoting stuff like this.

I'm not going to spend that much time trying to find it but I think it was when he was having fun doing videos about choosing different schools. I know you guys think greatly of him but I just don't respect a guy who bashes a bunch of high school kids that he doesn't know.

I knew I would get bashed by his groupies but he constantly talks bad about kids. He has no idea what this kid has to offer but he is willing to criticize him. A high school video of him when he was a lot smaller does not give enough to bash a kid. He always talks about kids having bad attitudes or bad character and I bet he does not know a single one of them. Some people make comments like his and they are called a troll but for some reason you all love it when he does it.

Now this is something that makes sense.  Everybody needs to take a deep breath and discuss things but not pretend that our opinion is the only one out there. Unless DB is on here we are all just saying what we think.  We don't KNOW what is going to happen.

I knew we were young but to hear about our two deep db's having 6 freshmen, a walk-on sophomore, and a senior wide receiver was amazing. I knew it was bad but wow.

I agree they are stupid and no good info has come out of them. I made the mistake of reading one today and the stuff people are saying is amazing. Everybody thinks they know what is going to happen even if there are no facts to support what they are saying. I will not click on one again but obviously a lot of people like pretending that they know what is going on. Try to just ignore them because a lot of people like them.

Maybe you have insider info about this but even if they want JH that doesn't mean he is who DB wants. Maybe DB can see what RR has dealt with with regards to players and can see that we are improving. I know everyone talks about the record and it is important but do you think anyone else would have done better with what he had to work with. Unless you have insider info from DB then you are just giving your opinion like everybody else. Repeating something you read or heard. I don't understand why people believe the media or other people when they are just giving their opinion. It doesn't make it true just because somebody told you something. There have been absolutely no facts to support that a coaching change is going to happen. DB has to listen to the well connected boosters and make them feel important. I am not saying RR will be here next year but there is no evidence to say he will not be.

My favorite Ohio State recruiting story is when they recruited Curtis Enis who went to Penn St. They sent him a letter and wrote his name as Chris Penis.

This team is so fun to watch. They are very young and it looks like Michigan basketball has a bright future. I have not been this excited about the basketball team for a long time.

I'm there with you.  That is pretty bad.  I had never heard the song or of him.

One big difference is that Charlie came in and did ok with someone else's players. The team went downhill from there even though they were getting top recruiting classes. And it wasn't a totally different scheme.

I read this somewhere a couple days ago. Not saying it is true but they were saying they had super secret insider info that he was going to sign a extension.

I'm too lazy to look it up right now but I bet the guy at the Heisman ceremony last year was not someone that he brought in.

I am not saying there is a positive out of this game. All I am saying is that everything negative has already been said. I am not happy with how the game went at all. The only positive is how we looked in the first quarter. Even then though we could not finish things. My point was it was nice to see a positive thread instead of 50 negative threads all saying the same thing.

I have never been able to figure out the argument that bigger means less likely to get hurt. I understand more muscle can equal more padding I guess but I just don't really understand. Does being bigger make your bones, joints, and ligaments stronger? Because that is where a majority of injuries happen. Junior Hemmingway is bigger than Denard and he has had nothing but trouble with injury. I think some people are prone to getting injured and some people are not.

I was just glad that it happened because from another 15 yards back, that throw that went into the stands would have been perfect.

They also had Tate on it last year. Then he got a little hurt and things fell apart.

I'm not arguing percentages. I'm just saying that just because someone is a late pick or undrafted meaning he is destined for special teams or will hardly see the field is not true. I know early round picks have more success by percentage.

Defense in the NBA is not better. He needs to get stronger. I have only been to one NBA game but they all seemed really lazy to me. The guys who were not involved in the play did nothing but stand there.

If you just saw that blitz pick up by him you would probably have changed your mind. Mike was a great blocker and Dion just moved out of the way on that play.

Funny thing is I remember reading a story about Zach when Justin was getting recruited. He was litteraly crying when Justin didn't know who he wanted to pick between Michigan and Ohio State. Zach was a huge Michigan fan. I am glad we don't have either of them on this team.

So we are supposed to judge coaches on how their teams do with the previous coach's players. Charlie's best years were with Tyrone's players. I think you need three full recruiting years before you can pass judgement. So in 2011 we should see a Rich Rod team. I know it's hard to wait that long but, can you not see that there is a huge difference between a Lloyd Michigan team and a Rich Rod Michigan team. I hate how these last two years have went but we cannot judge Rich Rod by how Lloyd Carr's players play and fit into his scheme.

I agree it would be nice to see. I don't see it happening until maybe the Ohio State game. Denard's running style reminds me of Josh Cribbs from the Browns. He seems to be real slippery when people try to tackle him. I think in the future he will be a receiver/return man and I think he will be great at it. But as you stated we will not get to see that happen this year (until hopefully the end of the season).

I don't think it looks too bad. It's not very big and I think that would be the problem.

I'm not a football coach but I would say that the db's line up on the receiver the way the defensive coach has told them to line up. I'm sure this changes based on coverage and blitz calls.

Video says 5'9" Rivals says 5'10" so somewhere around there. Barry Sanders and I think height is overrated when it comes to runningbacks.

What I have seen out of Denard is that he has plenty of arm strength. I know he has not thrown the deep ball much but he seems to have plenty of zip on the ball. The accuracy and decision making is not there yet. He might not be tall enough but I think that height while important is a little bit overated. I think they should keep him where he is at least until next year. If DG goes above him on the depth chart then yes he could be moved around and he would still be there incase of an emergency.

I grew up and live around Chillicothe. About a hour south of Columbus. I became a UM fan in 89' when the basketball team won it all. I picked them in my bracket even though I really didn't know much about them. Watching that team win it all I became a fan from then on. Before that I guess I really didn't care about any team. I was too young to really watch and care about college sports.

I agree we need to get a lead first. I trust Tate to run the offense and Denard is still a little of a unknown to me. Although the coaches know if Denard is ready to lead the offense. But IMO Tate should get us the lead then they could start alternating.

I was gonna write a bunch of stuff but I will restrain myself. Come on dude it was Nevada. To hear you talk it was like they were playing against a really good team. They are not good at all. Talk about the great DE's. If they are that great then how could the pass defense be that bad. If they are both that good then almost everytime that the opposing offense dropped back to pass at least one of them would be hitting or sacking the quarterback. It was just Nevada, and I know we beat just Western Michigan. And that is why I am not on here talking about how great we are. I need to see more to say that we are good. You should feel the same way. I know it's just your opinion on what you think will happen and I do like reading it but it still gets me a little worked up. ;)

I'm sure RR is hoping that Charlie will believe this. GERG shut down Notre Dame last year so I am sure he will have a good game plan to figure out how to stop them this year with a better defense.

I would say that they will have it on the TV. The Ohio State game will already be over so the next thing the Buckeye fans will want to do is watch the Michigan game and root against them. It would suck having to listen to some idiot fans(which is why I wouldn't want to go) but I would say it will be on.

About #9 Ohio State you wrote Terrelle Pryor might get into a fight and get kicked off the team. Get in a fight maybe, but get kicked off the team? Not gonna happen. He might have to sit out the first play of the game but he will not get kicked off the team.

He was a good coach and great recruiter. Was great coach until the last two games of the year. I miss him too. It was fun living in Ohio being a Michigan fan back then. I think in a couple of years we will get back to that kind of streak again. I don't think the big ten is ready for what is coming their way.

ESPN list him at 6'2" 195#, 2" shorter than Gardner is listed but the weight is about the same. Looks like a good project. If it doesn't work out he is athletic enough to move to another position.
